(English below) Muzikale gezelligheid met een gypsy jazz sessie in het park. In de zomer van 2014 begon ik met het plaatsen van publieke piano's, zoals deze in het Kronenburgerpark.
Afgelopen jaar hebben we besloten Stichting Buiten spelen op te heffen, omdat mijn organisatiepartner Anita Soede en ik niet langer voldoende tijd hadden voor de organisatie. Bij mij kwam dat vooral door de verslechterende staat van het zorgstelsel in Nederland en het toenemende aantal procedures en problemen waar ik daardoor mee werd geconfronteerd. Het is zelfs zo gelopen dat ik genoodzaakt was om te beginnen met crowdfunden voor mijn zorgvoorzieningen: gofund.me/9395... In the first summer I organized public outdoor pianos, I got a chance to record this spontaneous gypsy jazz jam session at one of the "open air pianos" I installed in a park. I think they were improvising on Autumn Leaves here.
Last year, I dissolved the foundation a friend and I started some seven years ago to place public pianos in our town and some other cities in the Netherlands (it was called "Buiten spelen", which means "Playing outside". We didn't have any time left to spend on the project. In my case, that was mainly due to the deteriorating state of the health care system in the Netherlands and the increasing amount of procedures and problems I was faced with because of that. It even necessitated me to start crowdfunding for the health care facilities I need: www.gofundme.c.... Specifically, I'm crowdfunding to make my new apartment well-adapted to my disabilities and to purchase and maintain a power wheelchair which could give me the freedom to work independently again as a street musician.
