Gypsy Jazz | Homage to Elvis Presley with the great Robin Nolan

Музыка

Sven Jungbeck - guitar, Volker Kamp - bass, Robin Nolan - guitar ‪@GypsyJazzSecrets‬
recorded live in Bergheim, Medio Rhein Erft on Feb 2, 24.
This song was inspired by Elvis' ballad: They remind me too much of you
It's great to play with Robin, he was the first cat of the scene, that I met in person.
That was 2010 in Wroclaw, Poland, after opening up the show for him with my former quintet, D'Artagnan.

Volker Kamp. Wow. This guy's ears are fantastic. Pitch it beautiful. And i love the way Sven is now making his genius musical statements more boldly. Not many can combine deep sensitivity one moment, with large bold statements the next - so special. I',m so exited about the development of this phase for Sven.

A lovely performance full of subtlety and beauty. Robin's nod to 'So Nice' in his solo, sums it up perfectly.
