Roger Barrett afrobeats originated from Ghana. It’s called highlife in Ghana, Fela Kuti basically renamed it

The first Highlife song was recorded by the Ghanaian band 'Jacob Sam and the Kumasi Trio' in 1928 in England. Fela had not even been conceived, let alone be around.
