Yeah I loved his speech. And it might be what inspired Edgeworth's change of heart too. I saw a discussion on a thread that Edgeworth probably saw himself in Cody: a little kid, trying to testify at a murder trial, emotional, with a strong sense of morality like how Cody has with the "fights for what's right." That moment might have been when he realized that he wasn't that kid anymore, that he had lost his since of morality. And that's why he objected.

I am so sad, because they decided to only use the first 2 games to make the anime... I would like to see Dahlia, Apollo, Trucy and Athena in the anime.

I'm not sure why but Cody jumping from the gallery felt more moving than what happened in the game. Especially when it shows Edgeworth watching him, makes me feel as though that was one of the factors that drove him to help the defense. Also when the bailiffs dragged him out of the room, the way Phoenix looked absolutely pissed and was about to approach felt really... powerful for some reason. This little kid did so much for the trial through a single speech in the anime while his testimony in the game was more tedious rather than compelling.

I think From the Ashes is going to be put at the end of the timeline of the original games, except for the time it takes place, it fits perfectly, Maya and Pearls are in Kurain, Edgeworth is still a prosecutor (i mean after case 4 of the first game he decided to resign until he comes back in case 4 of the second game if i remember correctly)

Of course he does. Redd White is American, and is the only person in the series that speaks English in the Japanese version. That’s why he speaks in such a weird way in the English versions. - 2019 - it is awesome so far xD

1. I liked Sahwit throwing the wig at Phoenix better, but the mouth foaming was better. 2. Way better April May breakdown in the game, just doesn’t feel right in the anime because we never realized she may be a little twisted/batshit crazy 3. Redd White has a much better breakdown, and his reaction to the list is WAY better in the anime, like a real, actual breakdown. 4. Wendy Oldbag doesn’t have much of a breakdown in the game, so this is really well done 5. Cody’s breakdown is a lot more intense in game because you’re exposing his lies, but here it’s more emotional 6. Vasquez’s breakdown is way better in game, plain and simple. 7. I liked Yogi’s breakdown in the anime, about even with the game. 8. I liked Von Karma’s scream and everyone realizing how terrifying it is, but NO HEAD BANG??? ffs. Game gets it this time. 9. She literally exploded on the stand, I liked it better in the anime but the reveal of her being Mimi Miney instead of Ini Miney is better in game. 10. Ben’s game breakdown was better, but I like the anime breakdown too. 11. Acro’s was better in game as well. Kind of a crappy case if you ask me. 12. Shelly de Killer is the same 13. Matt Engarde’s was waaaay more satisfying in the anime imho. I know a lot like it better in game, but this is actually way better. He cuts himself up first when realizing he’s done for, and once again when he realizes he’s gonna get the death penalty regardless. Double the pleasure for the viewer.

In the anime you can see his reaction and shift live (more or less) getting scared and such while Dekiller talks about what he will do. However in the games, is it much more amusing of a shift. You don't see Matt Engarde for the entire discussion with Dekiller. So after Dekiller declares the contract null and who his next target is and "Leaves"... The view THEN shifts to Matt, showing him panicing. Which is such a fun switch.

How is it funny to see someone scratching himself to bleed? It actually made me sympatize with him because i've done the same when i'm nervous/anxious, it just never bleed, and by how he has other scars, it show us he has done it before too

That case was of the best and most detailed. I loved it sooo much.... I wish it was included in, since it would fit as an anime episode due to it's length and vital material to work with.

Anime episodes were actually decent i jsut don't get the hate.... juuuust a bit abridged with some lil bitty details changed - aside from not implementing the magatama - as anime it could work but the episodes for the case need to be handled with love though.
