So I have a 49cc scooter. I wanted to know if you provide the full wire harness kits with stator and all of the other wiring components. I saw a lot of packages on google, but I would like to help support you if possible. I have 3 scooters I am repairing. 1 is a Buddy 50. Are you able to provide the prices for me? If so... How do I contact you?

Jim, Good question. We have gone through tons of off brand chinese big bore kits. We use off brand chinese kits too. But I will say we went through about 15 different manufactures before we found the right kit that didn't have issues or were missing parts. We sale both chinese kits ($150) and fancy ncy kits ($300). The truth is you pay for what you get. Our $150 kit is pieced together from a couple different manufactures. It is really risky buying a kit from a unknown dealer.Do your research.

My taotao speed 50 headlight doesn't work (there is one main bulb and two led lights one on each side of the main headlight.) None of them work all my other lights are working i checked the bulbs and the wiring they seem to be okay for the most part. ( what are the chances that all three lights have faulty wiring) it used to come on and off randomly but now i can't get it to turn on at all. I need to pass inspection and it's also a hazard riding at night. Could this be my problem? I don't have a voltage reader and i'm a broke college kid so i can't take it to a mechanic and it's my daily commuter. Running out of options. Considered wiring main headlight directly to the battery with a toggle switch but i'm also running an alarm off the battery so I don't know if that's a good idea. Please give me some advice on what to do. Thank you in advance.

Hey bud let me ask you, I had a bad regulator because it was charging 15.1 volts. I had several new regulators but they were all 5 pin with an extra black wire. I know I shouldn't have but I cut the connector and hard wired everything to the new regulator except for the black wire because there was no black wire. Just a green red white and yellow. Surprisingly the voltage came down to 13 and my light worked which they didn't earlier with the bad regulator. What do I do with the black wire? I noticed my digital odometer and speedometer stopped working when I put the new regulator on. Maybe I should have connected the black wire with one of the other wires? Please help!

I have a gy6 engine on a kids side by side. I cannot figure the problem out. The ground wire on the plug arcs when I plug in a new voltage regualtor and the fuse blows. The old VR was burned so I assumed this was the problem. Unplugging the stator made the ground terminal not are when plugging in the VR. the side by side RN but battery would slowly die, obviously because stator was not supplying voltage. I replace the stator and i got the same thing.

The rectifier will not cause a no spark issue. Disconnect your right hand control and try to kick start it. This will eliminate the kill switch from the mix, or you can pull the kill wire from the stator or cdi box. Use my cdi video for that

On a regulator rectifier like that where there are no wires coming out of the unit, how do you tell which is the positive and negative terminals? I had to replace the connector on the wiring harness because the heat from the regulator rectifier fried the connector and wires. I spliced the connector off the bike and now I want to know which wire goes where (yeah, I know, I didn't mark them beforehand). So using a multi-meter how do I figure out the positive and negative on the rectifier?

Hold the rectifier with the tabs facing you and the base, or bottom, has the drilled holes for mounting. Our of your rectifier has heat fins, they're the top. Now looking at the tabs the bottom left is the hot, positive, or traditionally the solid red wire. The bottom right is your ground, or traditionally the solid black wire. The top two don't matter which of the remaining two you connect either of them to. In my case they were both white wires. I hope that helped. I already did mine and it works great. I know the wiring because I found online a color coded schematic.

Look how the video starts out. That's how you look at the rectifier. Bottom left - red. Bottom right - black. The two top prongs can be connected to either of the remaining two wires. I marked my rectifier with a black Sharpie marker.
