In this video we will show you step by step how a GY6 Honda Ruckus custom scooters built. From the engine build to paint to full assembly and ride. These scooters are a great platform for every builder. There is a ton of parts and support available even for a novelist builder.     Yep. This did what I needed. Idle was crazy high, but then I did this reset and it’s back to normal.

    For just a sec, I was all like wait, your taking the baffle out of the exhaust and using it for the carbs intake 🤣 but then realized what was happening here. The video was just clipped together and it was the velocity stack. My eyes were playing tricks on me. Another great vid,vid,, video. 👍

    I understand the phrase if it ain’t broke don’t fix it but it’s kinda surprising with an over 20 year production we haven’t had a Ruck II. Especially considering how popular they’re really starting to become all over and not just in Cali.

    I see a gold mine in mass producing Electric gy6 ruckus scooters with removable battery. Bare metal no paint, allowing people to customize.

    What kind of engine could I put in my Ruckus so it'll be EMP and solar flare proof? Can't have a CDI and would need points ignition. Any suggestions ?

    @@battshytkrazy156 You can't shield a CDI because it has wires leading out of it. Nobody makes small diesel engines for mopeds because they don't produce enough horse power and their RPMs are too low. For cars, yeah an old diesel with a manual transmission so you could pop start it would be EMP and solar flare proof, but for a moped you need something that has points ignition, kick starter, carb and no CDI. Something like the old Honda PA50 is EMP proof, but I was just hoping there was a more modern made, but still old fashioned engine that would work in the Ruckus.

    Awesome build. My only concern is that rubber band that is used to drive the wheels. Bro upgrade to a chain! More reliable than depreciative rubber.

    Ever heard of timing belt….? Motors with belts have seen way more hp than this little scooter will ever produce. Plus it’s a lot safer to shred up a belt, than to snap a chain and have it get stuck in the sprocket and make you crash🤷‍♂️
