Man what a movie Kong found more of his kind, Mothra was resurrected, Skar King was defeated, Skar kings tribe was freed from his tyrannical rule, Shimo got her free will back and was also freed from Skar king, Godzilla got new powers and a new sleeping spot and finally to top it all off now the Titan and Kong tribes can live in peace

Mothra wasn't resurrected, it was a different Mothra, and Shimo always had free will, she just did things Skar King told her to through pain, like using a whip to force a horse to go forward.

This is definitely the best ending in the franchise. But the question remains; how can they possibly top this in the next movie?

Godzilla resting after a hard fought battle is a recurring ending throughout this series. Which I don't mind. It speaks volumes about his character. All he wants is to be in peace knowing nature is in balance.

Watching Godzilla go to sleep after a hard day from work is just so heartfelt.

I liked how the apes don’t know Kong but the rest of them reacted to what Suko was doing. First, you see him smile and some of the apes were in tears and Kong’s roar then Suko roars then everyone cheered up. 😊

It's a good thing Godzilla pay no attention to all the tourist making noises around him when he sleep as they aren't that big of a deal to him. The other Titans rather stay on Godzilla's good side or they wide up receiving the same treatment Scyllia received when she decide to make her move.

Seeing Kong species being free for the first time in years was so heartwarming and satisfying.

Godzilla is going to have a long rest, and Suko looks happy and Shimo looks cool

I love this ending, I hope we get see more of Mothra and they return one day

I kind of wish Mothra had vistitied the surface to fircle around Godzilla as he sleeps to sort of watch over him like how Kong brought Shimo peace, but this ending was peak regardless

As a MASSIVE Kong fan…you can’t help but get a bit choked up seeing him with his kind here and the rightful ruler. Simply gold

Godzilla reminds me of my cat when they sleep like that and Shimo is like our pets when we pet them like that

I love the ending of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Mothra repairing the Iwi barrier with her silk, Godzilla returning to the Colosseum in Rome for a nap, and Kong returning to the Hollow Earth cave with Suko & Shimo and became the new leader of the Great Apes. I really can't wait for another Godzilla x Kong sequel, and they will return, including Doug and the Vertacines.

godzilla is tired as hell he deserved it sleep well godzilla. it is possible that he will sleep there for a long time humans should make a home that looks like the colossuem in rome at a place were not many humans live and far from the cities close by the ocean

Godzilla can finally relax after saving the world, Kong is now officially King Kong. He then adopts Suko as his son & Suko becomes the Son of Kong & Shimo finally freed from Skar King & has become a new Allie to Godzilla, Kong & Mothra.

Ok now bring us back, Rodan! And maybe bring in Hedorah to are Hero’s to fight against.

This is my favorite Monsterverse movie to date!! It has the best ending!! Mothra’s back, Jia isn’t the last Iwi anymore, Illene, Bernie, Trapper and Jia are friends, Godzilla and Kong are officially friends now, Skar King’s gone, Godzilla is back to his old level headed self and has a new home in the Colosseum, Kong found more of his kind and he’s officially King Kong, Suko has a new dad, Shimo is freed and is officially Kong’s sidekick/pet, and the Great Apes/Titanus Kong are also free and now have a new, benevolent leader! Can’t wait for the next movie!!

Gxk is released now we will be getting destroyah in gxk sequel but adam isnt returning for this movie

Actually we shouldn't compare these 2 movies as they did best at their genres Gxk is pure entertainment... Fighting monsters, hollow earth fantasy world, Godzilla chilling in colloseum, flying monsters, laughing monkey, tyrant monkey and what not....its pure popcorn movie whereas minus one is a deep dive into the after math of the war and it's disaster and then there is Godzilla... Minus one executed the human story so beautifully and engaging, it feels that you are part of the story..you go through sadness, sorrow and victory along with the characters.
