Dude! Thank you so much. I just bought the "Iron Cavalry" and took it home today. Everything was in Chinese, I had to figure out how to change it to English. Everything was a rush with this vehicle. It's going to be a blast once I take it off road. I'm going to join the local Chinese Tank team for excursions.

David there are two trip modes trip a and trip b, when you are at trip a you can switch to trip b by just pressing ok and even u can reset it by holding down ok bit longer

Love your Tank Videos. I'm awaiting the arrival of my T300 Hybrid, expected in late November. I hope they will patch the lane assist functionality to allow for it to remain permanently off. There have been so many great videos about the Tank, but the only concern for me is the braking issue and the rear wheels lifting off the ground. Glad the Hybrid has wireless car play.... but they all should have it!

The battery of the tank 300 Hybrid version is under the flocked panel in the trunk. I think the weight of this battery will help the rear wheels lift off the ground during sudden braking. 258kW/350 horsepower and 615Nm torque, which sounds very exciting.

Great video, the long press trick is paramount to getting the ideal layout. I accidentally got into expert mode, but haven't played with it. Looks like it's well worth adjusting In the options in the driver's cluster, turn off smart cornering, that's my hot tip. Completely fixed the cruise control schmozzle. If I can sort out the elk beep and the passenger seatbelt rattle I'll be laughing, ha

I checked the difference between the Australian version of TAN300 and the Chinese version of tank 300. The Chinese tank 300 safety belt does not have this problem. I don’t know if it is because Australia has any special safety regulations for safety belts? ?

Another GREAT video - please keep it up! I would say though (mechanic for over a decade) the 'sport mode' on the tank is the most aggressive of any car I've ever driven - holds gears, throttle response and I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the charged pressure maps a little, not 'more boost' but maybe change the way it runs the pressure. Again, great video LOVED the long press of the home button... great work!!

I have just paid for the tank ultra Lux today. I’ve only just found this video & watched a few of ur 4wd test drives with the mighty Tank 300 . I do feel that the screen is overwhelming some what.. Driving it will be a mission on first day.. Are you guys In Adelaide? I’d like to come see u once I’m in action with the tank .. if ur here that is .. cheers guys and thx gr8 videos and helpful

Great vid thanks David. I didn't realise you could customise the main home screen! Just need to add a bit about changing the theme where you can completely change the look and feel of the display. System Settings>Display>Theme Settings. I personally prefer the 'Space Fold' theme to the 'Desert Pure Gold' you are using. :)

Can u pls help me with my tank 300? The indicator won’t go off like a normal car would. It’s got me in lots of trouble in the road. I live in Adelaide. Would love to find u if ur based here? Thanks for all ur shared knowledge. You helped me a lot so far.

Awesome video, is that a snorkel I see on the video cover? Did I miss an episode? I’d be very keen for a steel snorkel when I get my 300 ✌️

Hi Dave, have park your tank next to a grenadier, they could be twins, just one has been in washing machine. The tank has some great features. Just too bad it’s a small vehicle and towing isn’t up to most of us. Are you looking at support the Grenadier as these look close. This will give the 70 series a run if it’s reliable.

@@DASHOffRoad hi Dave, the other 4X4 suppliers aren’t either, hence the asking. Be funny if it’s actually reliable and give 70 Series run for its money, only new 3 years will tell its future. Tank looks great but not for towing/touring.

Great video i've learnt something new on the tank, is there a way to set the trip A to not reset after every day? I am wanting to know how many kms i am getting after every fill up It is very hard to tell unless i am subtracting from my overall odometer.😅

You can see that on Trip B. Make sure you reset Trío B everytime you put fuel.

How to set up navigation??

Just got my Tank 300 Ultra Hybrid and I love it, I tried the long press on the home screen and nothing happens, what could I be doing wrong?

It’s different - can’t add short cut (swipe down) to turn off ELK Either …. Annoying !! Also what’s your firmware mine says 1.0

Are you able to change the colour of the car on the 360 camera? Every review I've seen has the car orange

I have a Hybrid. The dash features you describe don't compute 😢

Is there a way to permanently turn off ELK . I know lane assistance stays off but I can't permanently turn off Emergency lane keeping as it turns its self on by default. Huge frustration

I’ve noticed in the video you have the intelligence driving feature erased and not functional. How did you disable that?

If you don't like turning off the lane assist every time, you can place some wide black tape on the outside of the wind screen over the right hand camera. You will have a couple of rings each time and yellow light on dash board, telling you the camera can't get a read, but lane assist is stopped. For me, this is much less annoying than manually scrolling through and turning off lane assist on every startup.

A quicker way is to start the car, pull down the top menu, then long press on 'lane assist'. It'll take you straight to the menu that has the option to disable ELK.

cool man, where did you go? What other modifications do you plan to do to the machine? you didn't explain the flashing process in detail after replacing the exhaust... by the way, will you sell 300 phev? tank 400 hi4t? they are more powerful and for full time...

Collected my Tank 3 days ago and I’m sure it’s going to be a while before I figure all the electronic stuff out. Just watched your video mate , my head is spinning , totally confused , :-((
