The t1 is much better! T2 is for April's fool day, if its not then someone must kill the one who had the idea of this redigilous effect. I dont regret for made my Envoy, atleast I ll keep the t1 skins

The nice thing is that building it will give you legendary functionality regardless and people can rock the T1 armor if they want, or make it look like anything! but grats on the envoy armor! That one is going to be hard for me to make haha

@@rubyburritog thank you haha it was a hell i was "lighting" for 2 years to craft the heavy envoy. I dont have the other 2 because i don't like them and i dont want to redo all this hell hehe. But the t1 of obsidian is a qualify of life atleast yeah. I am just so disappointed by t2.

@@seraphpaladin Yeah that is fair, I know a lot of people are not happy with the look. Especially GW1 Vets who were hoping for something closer to the GW1 armor, or at least maybe not flashy haha. I am going to wait to judge until I have them unlocked, so we will see what they end up looking like and how I feel several months (years?) down the road lol😂 I'll be making the heavy now but I will have so much time before I can craft that one or even the other two sets because I am also working on the other armor sets

@@rubyburritog i love the heavy one, is the first i crafted. But i had to change my human muscle male preset to semi muscles because the pauldrons stretch so much that are bigger than norn... I send ticket and i am still waiting. I wish you to craft it asap and enjoy it. I am gw1 player hehe but i prefer the t1 skin than gw1's obsi skin. But i believe they are lazy, they should make the heavy to have metallic look and not depend on juggernaut or its ooze collection. I also play lost ark and its a pity that it has fantastic skins and skills and everything but its pay to progress faster wirh very punishing rng and i am ftp player hehe. If lost ark change this thing i will abandon gw2. So the time will show what will happen eventually. Sorry if i mess up my english, its not my national language and i totaly mess up this week and i dont know why hahah

I am sure there is a lot of argument on the amount of work required that I probably don't understand 100%. I feel like legendary armor based on the open world should be a little "crappier" in appearance to Raid/PVP/WVW armors. Not entirely sure why. I think it looks pretty good, maybe vaguely a bit too vanilla but the real purpose of the open world armor should be the utility of having legendary armor, more than the looks.

That's a pretty good point, this is general PVE armor and it should be the most accessible, yes there is grind, but its open world and you can get just about everything playing solo, so the main purpose is functionality. It helps people get legendary armor without forcing them to do raids or play months of PVP or WvW.

If Arnet is going to intentionally make pve legendary armor visually crappy, they should post the crappy t2 appearance along with soto expansion, so people can spend their time and resource somewhere else.

Yikes these look horrible. These graphics look too bad in 2024 standards I think its time to upgrade the game engine to a modern one. The open world leg armor is supposed to attract new players but I doubt they will attract new customers with this one.
