Interesting ride through the suburbs (no one thinks of housing blocks and wide roads when they think of Amsterdam) and the city centre. And also interesting how much of the chat with the driver I understand as a german, something about where you live, and about taxes, and about taking vacation, and if he lives in Amsterdam, he used to work in Rotterdam before working at the GVB, a bit of getting annoyed at the GVB and the money and talking about different routes.

Tram vertrekt van achterzijde remise. 'n Aardig weetje weten? Hier was vroeger de lijnwerkplaats gevestigd die nu als basis- werkplaats aan de Joh.Muyskenweg is gevestigd (tevens openluchtstalling garage ZuidOost).

The traffic light was for cars turning to the left. The trams have different traffic lights.
