Confusing with the trnslatation of the song's title. 香山 should not be translated as temple fair. The translation should be insensce mountain.

这是“柱音”，音是同一个音，不像泛音是高8度的音，偷懒用的。

It's composed in the 1980s by Qu Yun.

SoundofChina Guzheng Interesting and thank you! I've found a few other versions on Spotify - Yujia Yan and the original (I assume?) by Qu Yun. It's fun to hear the different interpretations.

I am btw Yuesheng Professional Burma Blackwood Guzheng vs Burmese Rosewood Guzheng with Mica Inlay vs Dunhuang 694F-MH "Eternal Jade" vs Sound of China African Blackwood Guzheng with Inlay Which do you prefer? Sry for so many questions. Wish I could go to your store to pick but I'm half way across country.

VivianHeartfilia Heartfilia The Dunhuang 694F-MH has a bright and sweet tone. This one has a deep and soothing tone. Yuesheng Blackwood one is also on the brighter and sweeter side.

也有可能老师来自不同的流派呀，一首曲子不同的流派会有不同的演奏技法。
