Another great Guyver video! One thing though. The "Zoalord" from the first Guyver movie was also based on Guyot, though I don't remember if the scene from Dark Hero was supposed to be a "He's alive" moment. I'm also curious on your source about Guyot being converted into a Proto-Zoalord aside from his crystal. Hope you do an Aptom video in the future. Thanks!

It says right there in the comic book his power level is equal to a Proto Zoalord. Pause at 3:11

I think if James Cameron made a live action adaption of Guyver like he did with Alita, the manga might get kickstarted again.

I love the guyver. And I loved the film's till I found the manga and anime. Just shows how much Hollywood shits on original material. This would be a blockbuster if done correctly

Someone needs to finish translating the manga of Guyver so I can finally read this entire series.

I'm pretty sure they're still working on it. Like I don't think it was cancelled it's just their studio is super slow I mean they were hit with a freaking tsunami and didn't put out anything for a minute and plus since like the 80s I've only seen like 4 issues a year is it really cancelled? This was like my favorite series

Last volume, 32, came out Feb 2016. Last individual chapter we got we in April 2016. So it's been 2 years since any new content.

The anime followed the manga very closely. It continued on to a ton of comic books later on that went so far into the story that they introduced a female guyver, guyver 3 gigantic and all the other zoaloards fighting against them. Even Archanfel and Guyver 0 get mentioned in the manga. It's such a long story that there's alot to see if you get into it.

It’s such a shame the first guyver series never continued :( I much preferred guyots voice from the original dub.

I did cover a few topics on it but then views went down so I guess people were not that interested anymore. I covered the main topics of interest for myself. The manga never ended the story.. it's going along very slowly..

I believe that with the cult following this franchise has the rights will be aquired eventually, considering the interest people still show to this day with no english releases since 2005? it shows that theres still an audience for it.

Maybe Appolon is Sho’s dad?

@@AcidGlow I only know him from the 2005 Japanese anime + from your explanation about Alchanfel. And from the latter one, it seemed to me like he is a totally new person, who does not remember or regard his past friends what so ever, including almost killing Sho? Although, I didn’t really understand how from a rebel Murakami became Alchanfel’s most loyal servant. I suppose that it is likely to be Murakami, but just with new understanding of Alchanfel, from being in his regenerative pod. I guess he does really feel for Alchanfel, and wants him to achieve his dream and lifelong goal… but doesn’t like the zoalords too much, so has other plan how to do it.

@@maxroman2010 Mirabillis is one of 3 Zoalords that knows of the Island. Him, Barcus and Archanfel. (including the Segawa kids which is later on). Mirabillis cared for Archanfel and even showed kindness to the Segawa kids when he captured them. Right after Mirabilis gets healed in the Ship's Pod, he disappears as that character and Apollon shows up. He is the most likely candidate to being Apollon. What clues did you think it was Sho's Father cause I didn't see any.

True shame that the manga was never completed. Likely the creator died. I happens. Same thing with Highschool of the Dead. The creator is been reported to have died.
