Agree, IPAs are disgusting yet the only people I see drinking them are white guys between 25-45. And they'll always talk about micro breweries and so on. Shortly after that phase comes the Bourbon phase.

As someone who personally HATES the taste of beer any beer don't mind cider if it's quite fruit strong though I wonder that about beer, about lager, ale all of that sort of drink! I guess it probably DOES taste nice to a lot of people but I do wonder if some of them only pretend to like the taste at first.

If someone disputes this, ask them if they'd drink their alcoholic beverage of choice if it didn't contain any alcohol. That'll give you your answer. Notice you don't see many people drinking na beer and I've never even heard of na booze.

Ipas are hit and miss for me but if i want high alcohol content then i go for doppelbocks, weizenbocks or wee heavys.

This cracked me up at lunch today. IPAs have been my jam, and I cracks me up thinking I’ve probably done most of those things. The nose dive made me lose it. Thanks for the humor.

When you said about hopping in the Subaru, I immediately thought of an old coworker and just choked lol

I'm the asshole Gen X'er who started drinking craft/home brewed IPA's (also whiskey) in college back in the the early 90's & going to beer fests in NY. I always feel compelled to have a taste of each brew on tap, when I go to a bar to this day, and tell my tale (like I'm doing right now), to distinguish myself from "these" folks. I'm equally as douchey & cringy but... 48 & and want to be a pioneer!!!

I used to be all about IPA when I turned 21 back in good old 2013. I just enjoyed drinking a delicious beer. You people ROONED it for me

In my 20s I was a proud stout, brown ale, red ale (the lightest one could go) drinker. I tried my first IPA shortly after I bought my first Subaru. Now I am just a 30 something Subaru driver who complains about the local craft beer section only having IPAs knowing full well I am going to happily take my 3 tall boy cans of 2 IPAs and some stout I pretend I am going to drink but I later just pour for my husband. I feel called out...but also seen.

The simcoe and mosaic hops give it a potent cat piss aroma. So amazing!
