    I'm a 10 year married man and going to say it as it is. Our society normalizes certain bad behaviors. We men tend to excuse red flags in which we should NOT.

    Another thing to say, there was an elderly man on an airplane who told a crazy belligerent woman, "sit down, karen." It's a huge blessing people including Courtney Ryan are coming around bringing this behavior to the light and causing discussions on this topic. I really like The Quartering and a group of girls who expose woke behavior. I'm really glad women are coming around facing this craziness. This shows there is goodness in women, a lot of good men don't get with these kind of women. This may change due to good women coming out voicing off and not being shy. Modern feminists and the woke mob aren't just attacking men, they are attacking women and their biological nature. More women are becoming fed up.

    It's inevitable. Supply for women exceeds demand, therefore they can be firm on red flags because the next opportunity is right around the corner. Demand for men exceeds supply, therefore we have to excuse red flags because the next opportunity won't come around for along time.

    Chris Rock said, "when you meet someone for the first time, you are not meeting them, you are meeting their representative." So if you really want to know what you have in a person before moving in together or marriage, you need to date! Date a lot! and ask a lot of questions!

    Don't ask a lot of questions! You're gonna scare them off. It's bad enough people feel pressured in an interview. Why would you treat someone like it's a business? You're not trying to sell yourself to others. Have casual conversations, learn more from them, but take it nice and steady.

    I've thought for a long time now, that dating and relationships is willingly letting yourself be vulnerable around someone where hopefully good comes of it . But it's always a risk, and what's more is, I think you've got to be strong enough to allow yourself to be vulnerable in the first place, but somehow have a strength to where even if your exposed vulnerability is taken advantage of or betrayed, you won't be completely destroyed because of it. How someone does that, I'm not sure I can say

    It’s bloody rude regardless. If someone’s talking to you and you pull your phone out and start scrolling through Facebook then that’s top tier nobhead behaviour. The problem is a lot of people don’t have basic manners and communication skills in regular day to day interactions so they’ve got no chance when on a date.

    One of the biggest red flags: when she doesn't have any hobbies or interests, becasue after you get into relationship with her, it's you what becomes her hobby. After that you don't have any personal space, I mean by that sometimes you want to have fun with your friends or do your hobbies or you just want to be alone for a while, but that's pretty tricky with girl whose only hobby is her BF 😀

    Green flag is when they are complimentary. They compliment you. Many women feel they don’t need to compliment a man even if he’s worth complimenting. Making me feel good about something that perhaps I never even noticed is a really nice feeling.

    Red flags: If she cheats to end past relationship(s) she’ll do it to you eventually when her triggers inevitably arise. You aren’t special, she won’t be different with you, and you can’t “fix” her. If she’s been promiscuous, she’s addicted to Eros, and won’t want to “settle” for Pragma. You can date her, but always remember she can’t be a faithful wife.

    @@danielfoerster3416 For my ex wife, I eventually realized “love” wasn’t an expression of how she felt about *me,* but a reflection of how I made *her* feel. She felt “love” for feeling secure and validated, not for me as a person. I think that’s actually true of many women. I know very few who, over time, seem to truly love their partner as a man, warts and all. And those women are *all* “old fashioned,” raised with traditional values.

  • @jpoeng

    @ad izzle The thing is, at the beginning of a relationship they can be hot for you. But their underlying skills at communication and commitment are weak. They’ve developed using cheating as a substitute for healthier coping mechanisms of working through challenges in relationships, or the uncomfortable conflict of breaking up in a healthy manner. So when the relationship is stressed, as all long term relationships are from time to time, she cheats. There’s also a difference between the short term tingles of lust, and the long term type of love that the Greeks called Pragma. So I’ll say it again: You aren’t special. Your magic D won’t transform her into a faithful woman. Cheaters don’t work that way.

  • @jpoeng

    @jpoeng

    3 жыл бұрын

    @ad izzle Do you realize how arrogant it is to think you know the people I know better than I do? Black pill guys love to project some 100% certainty onto everyone, and humans aren’t like that. It’s actually a fallacy of thinking to believe in a “us vs them” world with no nuance.

  • @stevec3526

    @stevec3526

    3 жыл бұрын

    @ad izzle You're damn naive if you believe that. Women who cheat will always FIND a reason why they loose respect for a guy. They often are bored or they want male validation and approval. Life always has it's up and downs so cheaters can easily gaslight with a "reason why". Women will react emotionally and cheat. They often think they are smarter than anyone else. I have known women who were bored then cheated and in doing so literally destroyed their lives.

    Really good quality: When she is super chill. Not to be confused with shyness. Girls who stay level headed and chill in all situations except really exceptional ones are so much more attractive to me than hysterical drama queens, which are a big turn off for me. It is tied to a certain mental maturity. If you have the impression that talking to the girl is like walking on glass (= any word can be the wrong thing to say and cause her to explode for no apparent reason), that's a showstopper for me. Positive example would be Lina E. (the bright blonde) from Courtney's other videos. She has this calmness I am referring to.

    I’ve mentioned this in the comments section in other videos. First, take your time to evaluate yourself, your lifestyle, your values, your beliefs and what you want out of this life. Then, create a “deal-breaker” list of qualities and characteristics of the partner who will complement your life. Lastly, be certain to talk about theses topics within the 1st week or month of dating (depending on your schedules and how often you are able to meet) and you will skip the long grueling months of trying to look for red flags.

    Some things that I used to look at when I was single. 1. How does she treat other people (not you, but people on the street, waiters, cab drivers). That reveals way more about personality than what people fake one-on-one. 2.. Is she smart? Does she have the capability to discuss various topics on general level, or only the ones she is really interested in. 3. Could she be able to step out of her comfort zone for you? Doesn't really matter if it is to put a worm on the hook for fishing or going to a hockey game together. Just the point that she is ready to adapt her life to work together for the future and accept the fact that we are two people with our own intrests that has to be able to exist under the same roof. 4. Is she confident in her own personality. Does she seem like a real person or more acting a role. Could you live together with that kind of person? For me those were the main topics. Looks well fade over time, new skills can be learnt and people change professions. Men generally want love and support, we like to relax at home and no extra hazzle about some stupid shit. If we would look for sex (hookers, one night stand), fight (boxing rink) or a maid, there are other options that don't mess up your life so much. To invest in a relationship, there has to be more on the table. Just my toughts, after 18 years married, and still counting.

    A time ignored a red flag was when the girl I liked (and she liked me) cried on the phone when I said we can't date yet. She lived in Tampa while I lived in orlando, so long distance while both of our families have only seen each other a few times. I bypassed it and said, "You know what? Let's do it." Pro tip: don't give into the emotion if it isn't the right time! I'd rather not go into the rest, but that's just one time I ignored a red flag. I should've realized she was feeling way too attached and attracted to me for my own good instead of taking advantage of that (which is what I did, so you can be a jerk even if you aren't one directly).

    For me there are 6 essential factors that I monitor as the relationship develops and each one will be revealed slowly as acquaintance becomes friendship then intimacy. It also takes a certain time for her 'authentic' self to surface after a time of being on her 'best' behaviour. Unless her 'authentic' self is on display from minute one. Mental - intellectual and cerebral stimulation Emotional - does she demonstrate sensitivity on an emotional level Physical - is she receptive to and giving of contact Social - does she demonstrate a sensibility towards friends and family and politeness towards retain and restaurant staff Spiritual - does she have a spiritual centre and does she respect differences in spirituality Financial - is she willing to contribute to our mutual enjoyment of outings Having said that I monitor these 6 essential factors, I reflect upon each after each interaction and decide if she deserves more of my time. I have also found that language and word choice is a powerful indicator of how her mind works in terms of NLP. So many females seem to want a male to have a GSOH as if men were put on earth to entertain them. I have a natural propensity for humour and I also enjoy it when she also has a GSOH, but I do not see that it is my role to entertain her and that if I don't, she will dump me. Apart from the red flags identified in this video, the biggest turn off for me is the female who expects to 'feel' the chemistry on first meeting otherwise she will not be up for a second meeting. That is judgmental AND shallow and tells me she is not willing to get to know me and allow the relationship to develop naturally. I also DO NOT want to be involved with a judgmental female.

    The biggest red flag I ever saw was when I dated a Soviet girl and she brought a big red Soviet flag to dinner. It was quite literally screaming 'red flag here.'

    My biggest red flag was she talked me into going to an after party from a pub and started taking drugs in front of me. Next day she got in touch to criticise everything about me, so I defriended her. She got in touch afterwards on Valentines day to wish me a happy Valentine's day (6 months or so later) to say her phone bill came and she couldn't afford it, could she borrow the money from me for it. Funnily enough I'd long since made up my mind about her.

    Yes and from 40+ that age gap can stay the same if you’re a good catch.A 15-20yr age gap works better when the woman is from about 30 as she is often exhausted by the rubbish and players out there by then.

    My best friend’s future wife talked to me about my friend not saying the “L” word after a year. But that’s just him. In my experience, girls are highly variable about saying or expecting the “L” word. But looking back, I was only in love once before I found my wife and loved her. I felt like I had to say it to make girls, I dated happy, but I only meant it once before I met the right one who reciprocated my love. Men, I’ve learned you let the girl say it first. If you say it first, it’s the kiss of death.

    What is your opinion on a guy dating an older woman, say for example I( soon to be 19) meet up with a woman who awesome to be with who happens to be let's say 23 or 25, or maybe 30 - 40 years old. What could wrong in that relationship?

    I've definitely tried to progress things to a romantic relationship too quickly. I was partially motivated due to knowledge that other friends also had crushes on the same women because a lot of us have similar tastes in partners. In retrospect, that was all wasted effort because not only were those all women I now realized weren't the most compatible with me (just ones that I enjoyed interacting and spending time with and who were cute and fit) but my other guy friends were all too afraid of rejection to try and ask any of them out. While I would prefer to let a relationship happen organically through enjoying each others' company and good chemistry, I think it's tougher to be patient for guys knowing that women we're into are also on dating apps and getting tons of attention there. It's a lot tougher to take things slower knowing you're in competition with so many other guys out there, similar to my experience previously mentioned. I'm still endeavoring to do it but it is emotionally rough at times even when things feel like they're moving in the right direction but not as fast as you want.

    "Be friends first" is really, really terrible advice. You didn't do anything wrong in romantically pursuing those women. They just weren't compatible with you, and now you know that, and can move on to other women that are compatible. That's what dating is - a process of weeding out incompatible partners into you find one that works with you. Sometimes things do happen organically, and that's fine, but it's a terrible strategy if you're actually looking for romance. I tried that for years and got nowhere. I didn't start making any progress on my love life until I started putting conscious, active effort into meeting women with clear romantic intention. Basically, the guy in the video is clueless.

    In my experience, when it comes to women, age doesn't matter so much. I've dated women around my age, younger, and older. I found that maturity levels weren't all the different despite the age differences. I think it's more a question of character. I don't believe a guy should be with an older woman though in hindsight, simply because it's harder to feel like the head of the household if your wife can feel also like your mother. As for dating, my grandparents dated 3 months, and were married for 62 years until her death. Love is an act of will, not a feeling. Feelings are fleeting, fluctuating, and not reliable. A willful, dedicated commitment is what keeps a marriage going. It means sticking with someone, no matter how you feel.

    On the age difference: I think it's not so much a specific number, but where each person is in their life. For younger people, one may have graduated college and been out in the workforce a couple of years, while the other is still figuring out their major--probably not the best fit. But if both have settled into working life and are moving up in their professions, then what's a few years in either direction? For me, I prefer a woman who is older than my daughter and is past the baby making stage. As far as kids go: as long as she doesn't have a 26-year-old son who is about to be released from prison and expects his mom to take care of him, then I'm okay. (that was a joke, but based on someone else's true story)

    Red flag 🚩, the first time my last ex met my #1 best friend after the whole interacting when we got back in the car was he is not allowed to go to our wedding. I do want to say it wasn't the best meeting but it was all based in his look. I kept dating this person for about 1.5 years multiple other red flags that kept popping up as well. I just told myself that it was nothing or just something small that Im Just going to have to get used to.
