One of the best singer/song writers in the world. Guy's lyrics always have SO much meaning. A true artist. And the VOICE. Come on... the VOICE. And the breathing. He's a singing teacher's dream. Note perfect, the range. He nails this. The original version is great too, but Guy has so many great songs. Yes, he could be better known, especially in the USA, but he chose not to take that path when it was offered to him, so he could remain true to himself. I give him credit for that. He put his beliefs and true nature before money and fame... NOT that he's poor by any means, lol. Still famous, but not as famous as he could have been.

This is true musical talent you’re observing in Guy. He plays guitar, piano, drums, violin.. he writes all his own music and he has incredible breath control, vocal range and vocal “runs” out of this world which you’ll see more of if you decide to react to more of his stuff. Guy was in his home studio when he was in lockdown due to COVID. It also happened to be ANZAC DAY in Australia. This day commemorates the Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women who served in 2 world wars and the Vietnam War. Normally there would be parades in the streets all over Australia but it didn’t happen that year because of COVID.

He was also Australia’s first representative in Eurovision in 2015...

Guy won our first Australian idol in 2003 and is a coach on the voice Australia. He’s got a lovely rich tone to his voice and is one of my favourites. You also have to check out Matt Corby “brother” live at like a version this dudes vocals are insane and plays the acoustic guitar really well and has got the looks to match

He writes and sings so mant beautiful songs. He wrote a beautiful song called Choir in honor of a friend he lost. He sounds superb singing something a bit gospel. He also goes to a school as a surprise visit and joins in with their choir, it is lovely to watch, the kids are so awe struck, the song is Standing with You.

Please, please have a look at I'm Standing With You. A beautiful song, lovely lyrics with such heartfelt meaning. Really showcases his extraordinary range as well. Terrific songwriter with many more under his belt. As usual enjoy your honest reviews and your funny interactions when one of you reveals something you feel that the other didn't know.

This song was a hit around all around the world and was along with an American Rapper. He also many hits here in Australia and represented Australia in Eurovision

Very very talented guy as is his brother Chris (another rabbit hole to go down !! ) Guy won the first season of Australian Idol... the show did not feature his best vocals... we are very proud of how he has remained in the industry for so long but remains a really down to earth and humble guy.

I can't believe you don't know of Dami Im from Eurovision, but maybe you aren't interested, worth a look.

He's amazing. but I can't get over that flat first note of the first chorus, sticks out like a sore thumb. otherwise flawless,

I find him hard to listen to, he seems to speak to fast so to hard to hear each word I think he did a song ,walking to Perth that may be slower otherwise he seems to me to sing at rap speed mostly, so to hard to understand.

That's because he is actually singing the rap part of the original song. If you watch it you will see what i mean👍🏽should be easy to find on utube😁
