When Australia was in lockdown during Covid, Aussie artists took turns providing free entertainment "from the homefront." This was Guy's turn, close to the Australian national ANZAC Day holiday. Unlike other countries who celebrate battles won, ANZAC Day is a solemn day to remember and honour the thousands of troops from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZACs) lost in battle, due to mismanagement by the British who were commanding them in the beach landing offensive at Gallipoli in Turkey.

This guy can sing! The song was originally released as a duet with American Lupe Fiasco, which is where you may know the name from. The song is a song about the scars left from hurtful and broken relationships and compared to being at war. Guy may just be another Aussie rabbit hole for you!

Guy was the inaugural winner of Australian Idol, he has gone on to have a pretty good career, he is currently one of the coaches on The Voice Australia, you should check out his song "Choir" the video is 'Guy Sebastian's emotional School Choir Surprise' also have a look at his version of 'Climb Every Mountain' from his Australian Idol days the video won't be great due to the age of it but it's Guy that your watching it for anyway, Guy was also the Australian Representative for the World Idol Competition that happened a couple of years after he won. Guy is a wonderful performer, songwriter and all round good egg. Pretty sure you have reacted to him before. So many great song….many with deep meaning. Recommend his live version of Choir, an uplifting tribute to a close friend who died. Guy has a catalogue of great songs. Hope you check out a few.

We are very underrated here in Australia but we have some amazing talent from actors to singers to sport. We really are a bunch of battlers here. But this I can tell you, I've never seen an American who has come to Australia complain about the people, they've all said how friendly and fun we all are.

He's from my home town of Adelaide. He said to my boss before he went on Australian Idol that he didn't think he was good enough - he's good enough.

First…I just resubscribed. I was away for awhile and my beautiful 4 yr old granddaughter thought it was funny to unsubscribe me from all. Anyway, Guy is responsible for me watching reaction videos. I discovered him and scoured the internet for as much as I could. Then I stumbled across That Singer Reacts and never looked back. After watching all of Guy’s, I watched Disturbed, yeah I know, I kinda got whiplash. Lol Then, since I knew it would be a HUGE rabbit hole, finally jumped into Pentatonix. Being a Pentaholic since the beginning I knew it might be a hole I might never return from, and seriously who would want to. So a few recommendations for Guy…BELIEVER…STANDING WITH YOU…BEFORE I GO…There’s more but these are three of my favorites. Now I’m going to go back and binge your PTX playlist since I remember you were one of my favorites. 🤗💋🥰 I just looked up what you watched…you saw Before I Go & The official video of this and Standing with you on the voice. Hi Tammy! Sorry I pressed the wrong button! Your story about your granddaughter reminded me of when my husband and I were visiting our daughter and our granddaughter at the time was about two! My husband had put his IPad on the table and walked away and when he came back he asked me if I had out Peppa Pig on his IPad and I said no! We then realised that our little granddaughter had somehow got on to his IPad and somehow put the app on! I still don’t know how she did it! lol!
