In this brand new documentary, made for Channel 4, Guy follows in the footsteps of the brave young pilots of World War Two to discover if he could have been a fighter pilot in the Battle of Britain. Why is Guy one of the most entertaining guys on the internet? He’s the most genuine guy living every moment to the fullest, not the lad we deserved, but the lad we need.

I always wanted a TC . . . but after I finally bought one I was amazed how bad it was to drive with primitive steering, little power, horse cart suspension. I still love the way they look. Mine went to a guy in Chicago who will enjoy looking at it and won't ever drive it.

In about 1966, I had a 1946 TC in England registration plate was HYX 974! Loved it, ran great and reliable. Sure it was primitive and not fast, but the view through the windshield was great!

I own and regularly drive a 1932 Morris Minor Two-seater. When the Minor was launched in 1928 it was quickly uprated to become the very first MG Midget, the M-Type of 1929-1932. I'm guessing you're across the pond in the US, but over here in the UK the little Minor and early Midgets are suited to quiet country roads away from cities and motorways (freeways). I did 600 miles over 5 days back in June. Was last out in it 2 days ago and did 35 miles. The TC Midget is much more 'modern' with a 4-speed synchromesh gearbox and hydraulic brakes. The Minor and M-Type Midget have a 3-speed 'crash' gearbox and cable-operated brakes. All good fun!! Lol.

Good to see a pom giving the 109 it's dew firster climb rate, faster diver, well faster at initiating a dive and faster in a straight line. Using a 109 to it's strengths more than a handful for whatever the Royal air force could put up. Just saying dont get yourself all upset about it. Frankly if you look at who profited off the second would war thats who you should be getting pissed with not some 62 year old Kiwi who grow up making Airfix modals of Spitfires, Hurricanes, Sunderland's etc etc.

I think it's the Blue Bell Inn, near Coningsby, Lincs, where WW2 aircrew would drink. They wedged coins in the ceiling beams to pay for a pint when they returned. Many coins were never retrieved & are in place to this day. This pub is a must for aviation fans. The ceiling is covered in aircrew graffiti, even German crew who have visited. And a squiggle left by a helicopter pilot from Windsor... Hope it can survive the current difficulties.

Did an aircraft move from Coningsby to RAF museum Hendon in 2018. Had a meal and a few pints at the Leagate Inn. 4 lads from RAF museum Cosford who were supervising the move had rooms there, 2 other drivers and I slept in our cabs on their carpark. I don,t know about the Blue Bell, but if it,s as good as the Leagate, I,ll deffo give it a try next time.

Lovely old cars of that era. But now the iconic MG marque is owned by the Chinese. And they make large ponderous gimmicky van type SUVs which are plain and downright ugly. Benedict Cumberbatch’s endorsements notwithstanding…
