I was in a car accident some years ago and injured my back. I was told I would never walk again. The doctors were wrong and I did eventually walk but pain kept me from working and I felt I was a burden to my wife and family. I hated life and made it miserable for my wife and two teenage children. To keep some semblance of peace with my wife I continued going to church although I hated it. I did not listen to anything coming from the stage but one evening they sang this song. I had heard it many times but for some reason when they sang BECAUSE HE LIVES I sat up and listened. The next verse I CAN FACE TOMORROW was my turning point. My wife and I recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our two children and two grandchildren.

I too was in car accident when I was 21 and was in command for 30 days and told I would never walk again. I am now 82 and still walking. Jesus came to my room and touched me and I walked out of that hospital and have not stopped walking since. At work 15 years ago I fell off ladder 7 feet to she floor. My surgeon again said he doesn’t know how I can walk into his office or how I stand the pain and I told him through the power of God and His son. They are with me every day. I feel Jesus holding me up every day. My Surgeon just stared at me and didn’t know what to say. I pray people hear Guy sing and share his videos with the world to giver everyone the power and love of Jesus Amen. ❤😊🙏🏻

My sister, mom and I saw him tonight at Messiah College and it was wonderful!!! He asked the crowd who was married 30, 40, 50 60 years... and then 65!! My Mom raised her hand, with a little help from me! He left the stage and walked down the aisle to get to our seats. He was so filled with love and joy and asked her what the secret was for being happily married over 65 years (it's been 68) She is very shy and hates attention but came up with this quick answer "Just do what she asks you to do" In other words, my dad's words are "I just do what I'm told"! Priceless.... then he ended the night with HE LIVES!!!!!!!! Very special moment for mom

Thank you so much! I just found this gem a couple of days ago. My 84-year-old father is passing peacefully into the arms of our loving Savior right now. He will be with the Lord in probably no more than a day or two. This is his favorite song and the Gaithers are his favorite musicians. He is completely unconscious but when I played this for him yesterday, he smiled for the first time all day. Thank you for helping me to have that last good memory of my father. I told him the angels were just waiting for God to dispatch them to carry him home. I told him he's going to fly! And who better to lead him into eternal victory than the amazing voice of Guy Penrod!

I want to thank God for his amazing grace and his faithfulness during all these years.. As Dr. David Jeremiah said in one of his sermons: " In the past I have been saved from the penalty of sin. In the present I am being saved from the power of sin. In the future I will be saved from the presence of sin. " Amen ! Come Jesus come !

I sang with you. I love this Hymn. It is such a blessing every time I hear it. Today I really needed this. Thank you. You have given me the Will to go on. My pain is very severe as well and I at 82 have also been told for many many years. My surgeon said he didn’t know how I was able to keep walking with my cane and walker into his office and withstand the pain and I told him because of God I am able to painfully keep on. Can’t do all I should be able to do but I can still share Gid with people every day Thank you for this wonderful blessing. Amen 🙏🏻

My grandfather passed away today, he had the biggest impact on my life and showed me the correct way to live life as a Christian man. We played this song for him every day leading up to his passing. It was one of his favorite Gospel songs. I find peace in knowing he is with our lord Jesus and is dancing with his family.

Listening to this beautiful hymn should remind us...that in our darkest hour...our Lord and Savior is with us always. Pray for all these fractured countries and their leaders.. and pray for all who have not surrendered all to Jesus.
