Oh my gosh. No one can deny that Marian, Guy, and Allan are the ultimate power team.

Go Guy go! He loves her so much that it makes him be his real self. I love the episodes like this one where you see the real Guy. He wants to be a good man. But when he met and joined the sheriff it was the worst mistake of his life. Notice how good Guy is when the sheriff isnt around. Guy is like a knight in shining armor in this episode. Go Guy .

Hot man in leather is on his knees proposing to me...Umm...."Hell, yes!" I get why she said "No." But I still would have married him right after he came back. Tall, Dark, & Handsome, especially in black leather. Robin Who? I want Guy!

I have not watched the episodes yet, but I am almost starting to be getting obsessed with the Guy and Marrian scenes. I love Richard Armitage!

I'm dreading it, but there's no way the writers will let Guy live now. A redeemed Guy is just too wonderful. He completely overshadows Robin (at least for many of us) How can Marian choose Robin now that Guy is willing to sacrifice his own life to stand by her.

"If this is to end in fire, then we should all burn together" Sorry had to. Gotta say that this is my favorite episode for Guy in season 2 because he is so vulnerable and shows how much Marion truly means to him beyond his own life. He is willing to give so much for her that she doesn't return and it hurts. Honestly with the way she plays with both Guy and Robin I can't say I like Marion that much. Just my own opinion.

I have to agree. Guy is no innocent but the way Marian jerks him around is rather heart breaking to watch, given that his care for her is genuine. It's just cruel. *shakes fist*

Paige H I love Guy in this episode too. When he came back and she sees him and he "marry me and make it the last thing we do"....hmm, was Marian close to saying "YES" ?!?! Also love the episode where he finds out she is the nightwatchman. Guy is the reason to watch this series. Robin was so boring compared to Guy. And Robin was like a boy. It just didnt work. Guy is the shining star in this series.

It was after 8:13 that I completely gave my heart to Sir Guy of Gisborne. I definitely think that he and Marian make a better couple than Marian and Robin. As Guy said in the wedding, her love for him will wash away his sins... He just wants to redeem himself, but he needs Marian to do so... My love!

Guy of Gisborne in a black leather jacket and Robin Hood with a Justin Bieber haircut.. Choosing between the two can't be THAT difficult can it?

Watching this video I realised how many times Marian touched Guy in this episode. Good work, Caca! Thank you for doing it.

This episode was to die for...heroic Guy! Just when you thought he couldn't get any hotter or more interesting, he pulls out the hero card! Robin, Robin who?

Siiiiii. Aunque no hay que olvidar que es Marian la que hace aflorar lo que de hermoso tiene en su alma, y eso SIEMPRE es maravilloso. De por sí es un corazón atormentado y oscuro, y obviamente no tiene sentimientos altruistas dirigidos hacia el bien común. Pero lo fabuloso es que el AMOR es lo que lo convierte en héroe. Robin es un héroe nacional. Gisburne es un héroe romántico y eso a nosotras (las mujeres) nos vuelve locas.

Well, Guy has another name, it appears: "Marian's willfulness." :P

I just love how majestic he looks on a horse!

With these scenes as evidence, I rest my case. Marian cannot help but fall in love with Guy. He has just added heroism to his other attractions which are legion. I certainly love him.

How much I love the psycology of Guy...

@kshanafelt: at the end of ep.9 Marian and Robin were trapped up a tree with the Sheriff's men underneath ready to capture them. Marian persuaded Robin to pretend he was holding her hostage and Guy did the heroic thing and 'rescued' her, which allowed Robin to escape while Guy took Marian back to the castle. Basically poor old Guy got played for a sucker again :-(

I HATE Robin in that scene where Guy and Marian ask him for help! He's an arrogant little sod, and not very hero-like at all. Grrrarr. Other than that - great eppie. :P Guy and Allan are awesome! :) Oh, stupid season 2 ending...

Which proof of love is supposed to be bigger than this one: "If I'm going do die, I'm going to die by your side"? This shakes up the heart of any woman. Totally agree with Dunnetan. There's no way the writers will let Guy live now. Guy will die (sniff) by the Marian's side and will be redeemed.

I'm leaning toward-- Marion starts to realize that she loves Guy-- and in the finale episode Robin Hood dies saving Marion & Guy--- Robin gets his "GLORY" , Guy get the Girl, and we get a redeemed Guy--

He found out she was the Night Rider and boy was he miffed. Now he has to watch her constantly to make sure she doesnt do it anymore.

No contest is right. Let Robin go play in the woods while Guy offers to die beside the woman he adores.

She played him SO much in this episode...

RA thought it was way out of character, too. If you read or watch any of his interviews, he likes to repeat that he hated that scene. I have to say that I agree. Though, it made for a very poignant, thrilling finale. Plus, I'm not sure how I would have felt about a new actress playing Marian once LG was out. (LG told the writers she wanted out after the 2nd season before they started shooting. Dang her.)

Oh Sheriff... always interrupting Gizzie's "special moments" :P

I think it happened to put the focus back on Robin. The fans really love Gizz and M and it had become amajor distraction. I would have never watched more than one episode of the series if RA as Guy had not been in it.

My fear after watching previews is that Marian will betray Guy again and he will return to villainy in his disillusionment. My dream is that they get a "happily ever after" together.

Robin is unlikely to die no matter what. I think it more likely Guy dies saving Marian. Guy dying, and whether he is redeemed in the process, probably depends on series 3. I will be watching again when it gets to my town, but I am hoping I will want to rewatch lots more times, and that probably depends on Guy's fate.

Guy makes for great fantasies, but why wouldn't she want to exchange the fantasy for flesh and blood Guy?

I heard she's coming back for the third season and that the death wasn't real (ie dream). But it's just from the rumor mill. :)

I didn't like this episode. Not enough R/M for me as I love them lol. Guy's a bit too obsessive for me especially in this episode. G/M fans should understand that the writers made him to view her as his only means of being good (his saviour) And was too possessive. I never really liked Guy. I like RA but not Guy which is something people haven't managed to distinguish between. If RA played Robin, they'd all be Robin obsessed. Lucy and the Sheriff were great, as was my darling Robin.

Shes Not going to be in it. The BBC confimed it. Unfortuantly! But I hope guy gets punished, by robin. But before, Topless guy please!
