This was a time when the most clubs were like 5 to 10 dollars. Started jumping at 10. You could club hop start out at 10 o clock and dont stop partying until 10 am the next morning
As time passes us, the more you realize how well-crafted this single is.

My buddy said that you don't have to like new music, you just gotta know it because that's what the girls listen to. I went to the record store and bought this, Paula Abdul, MC Hammer and some LL Cool J Started listening and fell in love with R&B. Hearing it now takes me back to those great times...

You are so right on. Another thing that I've noticed is that after The Spice Girls, no Girl Group from The UK really made it big in the US. Not comparing but it shows how finicky the tastes of people change. In The UK there's a R & B Group called JLS who although had Six #1 Hits never made it on US Soil. Same thing happened with The Sugababes not to mention Girls Aloud who came from a Reality Show (POPSTARS: The Rivals), had over Twenty Top Ten Hits, Six Platinum Albums, and Four Number Ones couldn't get arrested in the US Musically. I think it had to do with the fact that since The US Popstars Groups (Eden's Crush & Scene 23) not to mention The Canadian Popstar Groups (Sugar Jones & Velvet Empire) didn't make it why take a chance on them.

Thanks for transporting me back to the summer of '88. I just graduated and started my first real job. I was strictly a classic rock listener. My buddy said that you don't have to like new music, you just gotta know it because that's what the girls listen to. I went to the record store and bought this, Paula Abdul, MC Hammer and some LL Cool J Started listening and fell in love with R&B. Hearing it now takes me back to those great times...
Guy was such a legendary group!! The combination of Teddy Riley's producing skills and Aaron Hall's poweful voice was deadly!!! Blessings to all.
