Manipur is a beautiful state of Northeast India with the city of Imphal as its capital.Manipur is called "A Jewel land" of India. Manipur is a Jeweled land because it is surrounded by nine hills with an oval-shaped valley at the center, a naturally made Jewel India.
The famous Kangla fort is an old fortified palace at Imphal. Loktak Lake of Manipur is the largest freshwater lake in South Asia.

Dimapur to Kohima and Kohima to Manipur Border were not in good shape back then....Rest is all good
