    So funny all of the suggestions on how these folks should do things.. I deal with the same thing where I work cleaning apartment buildings. Funny thing is most of the people suggesting how I should do my job are unemployed.

    Great video and looking forward to more! I have a 1969 Apache Cimarron 21’ and it’s not a pop up. They made them for a few years. Pretty rare and hard to find info on the internet but they are around. I’ve had it for years and now it’s time to get to the repairs it needs. This is very helpful.

    I've found when removing stains and mildew on campers to spray bleach mixed with water first before pressure washing about 30 minutes soaking helps so much with the cleaning .

    Just watched Part 1 and now Part 2, a year late. 😄 Of course there isn't any audio ((I appreciate that) but, body language speaks loudly and I don't see any negative body language. You two are a great team with a lot of good skills. I'm not going to offer advice because it would be a year late, I'm not there and I'm not doing any of the work. That little trailer is going to be a gem, and of course, by now is.

    Thanks for parts one, and two! I'm good with everything you've done, up until 26m into part two, the patches need a "weep hole", caulking the bottom, creates a dam, the dam, hold's water in. Any water that penetrates the top caulking, needs a means of escape. Just trying to help, keep up the good work!

    We have a older camper with no a.c. so we bought a portable a.c. unit it's a very good alternative for the camper , it comes with a hose something like a dryer hose but more durable and a metal attachment to vent it out of a window and it doesn't have any water drainage so it works great and we have seen people place window units in campers but then you have to worry about leaks and it sticking out farther than the camper , just a thought for y'all to think about

  • @Derpingtonshere

    @Derpingtonshere

    They also sell the attachments for camper/rv's so no need to use it in the window. Just cut a square to size and it fits right in.

    Just think you both are making a great investment in fixing and renovating this trailer! Best part is once you are done, you both can live in it full time and pay no more apartment rents or mortgage. Plus you can travel the world!! With this COVID pandemic, people being evicted or stressed from working around the clock to pay rising apartment rents or mortgages, many individuals are looking at other places to live like tiny homes, van life or living in trailers. Many families are moving into schoolies now during this COVID pandemic.

    Any new updates on this build? My mom and dad had one of these campers in the Poconos for years. They demoed it right on the spot. There's been a couple new campers on that spot since. My sister owns the lot now. The spot and whatever camper on that spot will probably always be in the families hands.

    Since rent prices in the Country seem to keep climbing higher and higher, buying these old campers for a few hundred and modernizing them, makes a lot of sense. To rent a spot in a camper grounds runs around $300 a month including water and power. Would rather pay $300 for the same size space as that camper, you get in these $1800 1 bed apartments.
