Ndichu sure was actually talented. He would freestyle without writing his lyrics sometimes, but Kamaru had grit and dogged determination.

I first met John Ndicu in mid eighties at Coro Bar & Restaurant(now mutaratara mall)in mid eighties while I was in high school.It is at Coro,where I met all great kikuyu artists who shaped the careers of many.They were trail blazers.You would meet them also at Kagondo bar,river road.
