And i love the fact that they usually have one guitar to rely on when they make that magic. And another thing! They just put out the Album of the Year ! "In Stereo" is a masterpiece of soulful beauty. Thank you, Tom & Guthrie, and the musicians you know. ❤

I know we are here for the six strings, but man, that half shuffle/half train rhythm and bass groove! So clean and non-garage band! Pro!

Honestly, it is so fucking hard to play those notes, in that order, with that timing, tone and volume…I absolutely LOVED it! I felt every bit of that one. Also, notice how Tom’s playing drives the groove of the whole song. When he went for the solo, the basic groove was very different vs. before and after he played that solo. He’s pure GREATNESS!!!

Totally difficult to dial it back that far once you’ve developed as far as Tom has. God bless it was so tasty and simple…. He played the solo every 13 year old dreams of playing on a big ol stage.

‘In Stereo’, on band camp an I think they both have it somewhere on their channels. It’s good.
