For anyone who’s ever fallen back on that tired bromide, “those who can’t, teach.” need to watch Guthrie. Just an astonishing player and a great teacher.
look at the flick of the wrist
I just learned about Govans existance and I think he is something special in the brotherhood of guitarists.
I had no idea who Guthrie was until today, but im so glad i found him because he is one of the best players ive ever heard

@@hywel4605 Guthrie's not nearly well known enough as guys like Vai or Satriani. For a non-musician regular person like my mom for example, she barely remember who those two are but I'm pretty sure has no clue about Guthrie

Dude, all I do is laugh when I see this guy. He's just so amazing.
I keep coming back to this video when I wanna hear some great sounding crazy fast strumming.
Superb, fabulous and inspirational - true wizard!
great prof. guthrie !
I have never heard anyone articulate or explain guitar so well.
Awesome playing! Practice makes perfect!
Gowan is such a great teacher and player!
Guthrie Govan is a cyborg created by a race of super-intelligent guitar-like creatures from another dimension.
don't try this with sweaty fingers. my pick is now in another dimension :(
iam watching his videos not even tryin to learn something. its just so relaxing to listenin to his voice. Please do some live book reading!!! that would be amazing
Fookin' fast right hand, it's a blur during those 32nd notes. Love to hear him play some distorted thrashy stuff with that kind of speed.
a great lesson from an epic man, thanks.
This is a great lesson. Strumming is percussive/rhythmic already (even more so on acoustic guitar) and this gave me a path to move even more in that direction. Cheers!
very nice approach and well explained.
I Love this Guy. He is a Freakshow on Guitar. Just Phenomenal.
That guy is incredible
Guthrie is so endearing. What an awesome human.
Stupendous!
..dang GV you make it look soo easy :D , caption for this video is "Do not try this is at home. these stunts are performed by hardcore professional" . best teacher i have seen (y)
That’s much more than lots of practice-that’s a gift.
Cheerrrsss!! i was looking for a tutorial for this trick since a long time ! Thank u

UNBELIEVABLE!!👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome technique! Love watching him! \|/
He makes it look easy.
That's a fucking machine.. it sounds so equal and machine like 😲
Great job!
Maestro.....❤️
Not human… in the best way possible ❤️
Great funk techniques.
That's great!
Why on earth do I love EVERYTHING Guthrie Govan does?
quality tutorial as always
Sensacional ! Muito boa esta técnica ! parabéns !
Thanks. That's useful!
Hammer Super Gitarist! Einfach Klasse!
God Guthrie Govan, is there anything he CAN NOT do??? Every clip of his video is so incredible
This dude and les claypool would make the gnarliest fucking band.
one word - insane!
that's amazing.
He is the best player ive ever seen.
Thank you so much, im searching for Al di meola strumming technique, and this sounds alike
This thing is a real human being !!!
He's a wizard, Harry!
Thanks so so so much, you saved me !
Good good good myteacher thanks
Nice lesson man
very formbyesce turned out nice
Guthrie's playing never fails to impress me
that is amazing his RH movement is so fast it's blurred
He's just vibrating.
Guthrie is a true innovator. I thought new guitar techniques were "done" and that the goal was to be creative with what we have. Then I discovered this cat a few years ago.
He is a genius, the most eclectic I know, dominates many styles with definition, I would like to come to Brazil to play bossa nova, samba, swing would break
He really should be much better known. incredible talent and nice guy. saw him several times with asia.
"Some people think it's triplets. It's not. It's one more, isn't it?"
Best geetar slinger ever.
Camera can't even handle his normal strumming, let alone super-human God mode strumming.
that is crazy!
You are very skilled! :)
mind blown
