DEI is about affording equal *_opportunity_* for historically underrepresented/discriminated groups, including women (for example). It's not about handouts, entitlements, etc. And elsewhere in the natural world, no species would ever survive without diversity.

Trump's shark and battery speech makes sense considering electric current can be spread in saltwater and those batteries are linked together so they aren't isolated units. There is nothing wrong with asking a question and getting an answer whereas some people just act like they know everything and it was stupid. It wasn't. If you know about yachts and their electrolysis properties, plus the stainless steel, aluminum, steel and even carbon fiber on them, all of those can conduct current, especially in saltwater.

I will never take a person seriously that is in a position where DEI was considered.

I remember in college, our econ professor said America was the investment hub for the world because of a stable government, a fair and dependable legal system, abundant water, and cheap energy. If you invested in the U.S., you didn't have to worry about the government seizing your property like in other places. But looking at current events, everything that made America safe for investment seems to be falling apart due to progressive policies. This is undermining America's status as the go-to place for investment and could hurt the dollar as the reserve currency. Our immigration policy changed years ago because Europe complained of a brain drain. Their best and brightest were moving to the U.S., so we made it harder for Europeans to migrate here, ensuring we didn’t just scoop up Europe’s talent. Fast forward to today’s DEI policies. These new rules seem to discourage or even punish companies for hiring the most qualified candidates in the name of diversity. Sure, they’re promoting more diverse hires, but if more qualified white males are being overlooked, that’s problematic. These talented people might just move to other countries where their skills are valued. In other words, the brain drain is now going to go the other way. Which of course I think is the point. You look at all these policies being pursued by progressives, if it walks like a duck talks like a duck it's a duck. I don't believe that this is by accident I don't believe this is a clinky dink This is being done deliberately. It hasn't escaped me that most all of these policies that are making it harder for America to succeed always seems to benefit one country, China
