I remember cutting through an alley with my friends and a man entering from the other side, on seeing us he took out his boxcutter, and held it up, not threatening just advising he could take care of himself if we tried anything. I broke out laughing 1stly because we were kids (teens) 2nd because we were girls, Fort Green, Brooklyn, too dark to remember his face just that he was tall. There is a pan handler outside the local 7-11 who asks for food or drinks. If I have the money, I do buy him something. He is very obviously mentally ill. I do not want to support anyone's drug habit but I do not want to see anyone go hungry/thirsty. I am a softy for animals too. I would definitely buy pet food too.

We lived in California years ago and after we started having children I decided we needed to get out because I did not want my kids growing up there at all. That was in 1982 and even then I saw where things were going. That was the best thing I could have done for all of us not knowing just how bad it was going to get and we do visit my wife's family that are still there and it just amazes me how bad it has gotten. My wife's Dad said if he had known it was going to get this bad when he retired he would have sold and left too.

Frank your right on a lot of points but I see way to many people that for some reason have to reproduce and love the attention of the baby bump and gender reveal and when baby gets here watch out. They think they're still 16 themselves, don't parent at all because they want to be "friends" which is stupid and does not work. Plus the fact it's all about me. Having a child you better plan on them coming first until they're 18 or you have no business having one.

I feel like i wasnt afraid of anything and then as i grew up i gained fears and SO many concerns......

My two boys were brought up to be polite and kind but I used to tell them to yell, scream, poke at eyes, kick if approached by strangers etc and that they would be told they did exactly the right thing. You have to tell them to defend themselves and use behaviours that are normally out of bounds.

I’d move to Florida right now over NY

I recall as a child being afraid of a storage room next to my bedroom in the second story of our house, which was in a safe neighborhood with no crimes that I can recall at the time at least. Now because of the woke politicians, I am afraid to go outside, or to go downtown. I avoid being outside at night. The politicians who promise a utopia for all bring us instead danger for all. That is the true horror show.

That's the intent. Now all you have to do is give the government more power and they'll fix the problems, or, at least, they'll claim to, if you just give up some of your freedoms for security. The USSR loved using anarcho-tyranny too.

They closed mental hospitals because people didn't like them, and now homeless people live on the streets instead. Now, I understand that mental hospitals were really horrible sometimes, but they should've been fixed, not dismantled completely. People living on the street, attacking people, pissing and pooping wherever, can't be better than actually giving them a place to live where people take care of them. We know a lot more about mental health than we used to, and some of these people might actually be helped by living in a facility for awhile. Some people actually get much better with meds.

The US has a very powerful army, that's for sure.

I honestly don't see why people stay...the rent, the crime, the squalor....NYC has a brand alright, Mayor Adams BUT it's not what it used to be

Both Tucker and Bongino are awesome. Bongino is fully expecting a knock on his door from the FBI any day now. I think they'll leave Tucker alone for awhile yet, but I won't be surprised if he gets a knock on his door. They definitely don't like him.

Fair enough. U like the brightest minds in Bongino and Tucker. I'm a life long Libertarian and certainly don't agree with everything on fox but we're at a point where the utterly insane radical left should force ANY sane person to vote GOP this time. Having our own views is what made our country so incredibly unique. Most citizens finally get how dangerous this current administration is. Cheers to you
