    Love and respect you two for all the research and information- that being said why not advocate or make it more affordable to actually get care from you to help solve all the health issues we are facing. Regular doctors have no idea but to just hand out medications that make us worse. If all you “special doctors” got together and made it affordable to receive care from you it would help tremendously even if it was one person at a time.

    It is always beneficial to hear two learned doctors carrying out a give and take, question and answer conversation. I found this hard to understand because the sound was uneven and I am unfamiliar with much of the terminology. I suspect I will have to listen to this a few more times, medical dictionary in hand. Thank you for addressing these health issues.

    An excellent discussion, thanks to both of you. I was really pleased to meet with you Dr Bredesen when you gave a presentation in London a few years ago. I’m a retired GP, and have been doing my best to care for my wife who has Altzheimer’s. I’m so interested in the Leaky Gut situation, and I have heard of two recent studies. The first indicated that a ‘normal’ rat that was given a faecal microbiome transplant from an Altzheimer’s diseased patient, developed Altzheimer’s like symptoms. And the second related to the toxins generated from Bacterioides fragilis in the gut, not only damage the tight junctions of the gut, but also the ones of the blood brain barrier, then gain access to the brain, and the Lipopolysaccharides reaching the brain cause untold damage to the sensitive cells. My next question is, should all Altzheimer’s sufferers with B.f. have an FMT from a donor who doesn’t have B.f….?..!! And should they also have a Vagotomy..?..!!

    There have always been effective treatments for neuro-degeneration but they have been marginalized/suppressed for the sake of power & profit. Now more people are aware of it mass scale which is awesome!

    On about 09:50, Dr. Bredesen mentioned two microbiomes, I know the first is “Akkemensia”, but I don’t know the second one. Could any one help me? Thanks ❤😊

    Can leaky gut typically precede insulin resistance?

  • @apoe4.infoinc.748

    @apoe4.infoinc.748

    6 ай бұрын

    That's plausible as leaky gut triggers chronic inflammation, which disrupts insulin signaling and impairs insulin sensitivity. But keep in mind that gut permeability is quite dynamic based upon what you've just ingested, GI milieu, and even your state of stress. Lots of opportunities to continually optimize!

    So whatever inclusion body myositis is, as an autoimmune disease Dr. Grundy's recommendation will absolutely help resolve it. You want also to study the work of Thomas Seyfried, Dr. Perlmutter, Dr. Lustig, Dr. Bredesen, etc. You want to get your hs-CRP down to 0.25.

    Why do the doctors call the food we eat "medicine, or medical practice". Can we PLEASE stop saying the word "medicine" when we talk about health? Medicine NEVER made anybody healthy.
