I'm Korean, so I don't know the meaning of any of the lyrics. However, the content she sings seems to be about expressing the sadness of love but sublimating that sadness. I don't know who composed the song, but the composer is a genius. It's such a beautiful song. This is the power of music. Because we speak different languages, but I can share her sorrow. And Morissette is such a great singer. Her voice, timbre and technique have the power to elicit emotion. Every time I listen to this song of hers, I feel something sad yet hopeful. It's a subtle feeling.
