I love this guy, he's from the 'old country' after all. I do have one Firewind album. It looks like he's making great use of lockdown time here. I must get his new album. Cheers Tank.

As a guitar player i consider Gus G. among the guitarists that i should study and jam along virtually as i do with other giant names. Some of my favorites are The Fire and The Fury (Firewind) and Force Majeure (with Vinnie Moore)

I knew I recognized that name. I listened to Firewind way back when, and was a *huge* fan of the way Gus plays. That old school tube amp tone, the ridiculously catchy riffs he writes, just his whole style. This was *really* good, and I need to listen to more of his solo stuff afterwards. As far as Blackstar goes, I *really* like their ID series amps. The amount of customization available for your sound through those ID amps is insane.

You’ve been missing out on Gus G for too long! So glad you finally reacted to him. I’d highly recommend the live version of The Fire and the Fury with his band Firewind. Another instrumental track with a lot going on.

You should also check his band Firewind and if you're interested in other bands from Greece I recommend Rotting Christ and Planet Of Zeus. Keep rocking!!!!!

As many others have mentioned you need to to listen to the back catalogue of Firewind. All of it is just killer stuff. Allegiance is a stand out album. All of them with Apollo Papathanasio on vocals are my preference.

Gus is amazing :) Firewind was one of the first bands I came across when I got first into metal. Since then I am in love with his work. He has a really unique sound that just really hits my sweet spot :) I can really recommend the first Firewind album "Between Heaven And Hell". it has an amazing raw sound for a power metal album. The title track is incredible. Other great songs by Firewind would be Tyranny (super catchy), Mercenary Men (super melodic), The Fire and the Fury (instrumental) or Rising Fire (of their newest album). Or from his solo stuff: Force Majeure :)

I have a Blackstar Unity 500 combo bass amp, its fantastic! Has all kinds of effects built in, chorus, octave switch, od, distortion, fuzz, a compressor, a switch for changing the amp modeling for different tube sounds and shit tons more, you can control most all of it with a foot pedal, and you can connect it to powered extension cabinets...I have used it for recording and its light enough to lug around, which is not something I can say for a lot of bass combo amps...highly recommend giving them a shot, and no I don't get paid by blackstar or anything, I just really enjoy the amp, sounds super good paired with my darkglass pedals...

I see the mini Drumkit, i see the Fun Video and i get the Feeling that someone has watched a lot of Leo Moracchioli's Videos and got inspired a lot by him. You could react to Leo as well, but i dont know how much you want to react to Cover Players, but in my Opinion his Metal Covers are the best by far. He has so much talent and is also working with a lot of talented Musicians as well. I recommend "Africa (Live)" and listen to the Outro as well! And "Sultans of Swing" with Mary Spender. He also has a lot of Guitars and Equipment ;).

If you want black metal with humor, @TankTheTech , you ought to check out Belzebubs "Cathedrals of Mourning" Pleading for, as for usual: Parasite Inc "Once And For All" - Melodic Death rampage from Germany Vreid "Wild North West" - Melodic Black Metal, damn fine landscape in the video, great music, and story telling. Warbringer "Silhouettes" - Best 2nd wave thrash band out there.
