Q) How to unite Hindus Answer : - 1) Eliminate pseudo seculars 2) Eliminate castes 3) Have knowledge of our Ramayana, Mahabharata ,Gita, Vedas, Upanishads and all of our texts 4) Proudly say we are Hindus like others says they are xyz 5) yes we are taught to respect all religions. But don't blindly respect all religion first have proper knowledge about them, their beliefs. I am a teacher of Transcendental Meditation, as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and I knew that Deepak Chopra and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar were with Maharishi, but I never knew the back story and why they left. So, this is a great video filling that gab. I had the honor to instruct a number of students of the Art of Living Movement into the Transcendental Meditation technique after they had learned the meditation Sri Sri is promoting. I was astonished at how much they did not know about the practice. Sri Sri has namely copied Transcendental Meditation, the Guru Puja, and all, but he has never attended a Teacher Training Course. So, he was/is teaching a meditation technique even he doesn't understand. Maharishi Ji always said: "A little bit of knowledge is dangerous". There are Gurus and then there are fortune hunters.

Sri Mahesh Yogi Ji must be so proud to see our beloved Gurudev Sri Sri , who is continuously working to bring similes and hopes in millions of lives. 💝💝

Rajivji has created a large impact on modern day hindus ...Personally, his "Being Different" and "Indra's Net" has changed my mindset for good. His "25 years with mind sciences" video should be studied carefully by every one. This interview is another high class production.

Well, SriSri's association with Maharishi ji is well known and documented in many books like 'stumbling into infinity' (Michael Fischmann) and 'Guru of Joy' and SriSri many times acknowledged this fact. Seems questions posed in slightly negative tone but Jay Glaser sir responded nicely. Had SriSri stayed with Maharishi ji, he might have ended up in heading TM movement. But it was Devarahi Baba ji(the ageless saint) who suggested SriSri to start a new movement. One more interesting fact is SriSri never got initiated by Maharishi ji. Initiation is for seekers. Maharishi ji had seen something in SriSri and that might be the reason he used to give mammoth tasks to SriSri who was just in his late teens that time. SriSri learnt vedas from Sri Sudhakar chaturvedi who was a disciple of Gandhiji.

No one can teach an enlightened .all are beacuse of their previous karma ..and whatever Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji are doing it is historical and No one has did like Sri Sri work .

"Things are always different than what meets the eye". Eye-opener for some but a normal story for others.

The main thing is that sri sri never acknowledged Mahesh Yogi as their guru . In reality , they want to name it as art of loving , but dut to the fear of making it's another meaning they changed it to living instead of loving . Mahesh ji want to make Ravi Shankar as a Shankaracharya of jyorthirmath but ..sri sri don't want to limit his teachings in the boundaries of religion .. like global art of living . But last ... I just finished reading Metahuman. Deepak Chopra tried to explain the difference between Maya and Brahm, by giving it English terminology as virtual reality and Brahm as 'choiceless awareness', so wrong. He did not a good job in this book and as always never bothered to give credit to Hinduism. He presents himself as someone introducing new concepts. That is false. Plagiarism of Hinduism is at the best is all I see in each book and how he condescendingly refers it to as 'organised religion' like any other religion.

The diluted repackaged branded marketing of our spirituality in the West began with MMY . Swami Vivekananda and Paramahansa Yogananda were careful about transmitting it without doing any of these. MMY- like gurus sell mental wellness products.

@@KaunKizka According to traditional scholars, Adi Shankaracharya lived 2400 years ago, a Century or so after the Buddha; although modern historians place him in the eighth and Ninth Centuries CE. All the Gurus after him of Dwaitha, Vishishtadwaitha and other schools, even Sri Ramakrishna's followers have had to make his Adwaitha interpretation through the Prasthanathraya Bhashya as the golden reference standard. Sri Ramakrishna himself said that a Jagadguru had to have a trace of ego like Shankaracharya. Are you not familiar with Shankaracharya's Vishnu Shatpadi which has these most profound lines "Satyapi bhedaapagame nadha tavaaham na mamakeenasthwam Saamudro hi taranga kwachana samudro na taaranga "?!

Even though both disciples acquired plenty of knowledge, why follow their teachings if the original Teaching cognized by an enlightened Maharishi (Great Seer) are available. Why not follow the authentic Teaching and not a watered down version which could lead you very much astray?

Rajiv, this is an example of what you have previously described as "digestion" of Hindu philosophy by foreigners and calling it their own without giving credit to the Hindu origin. It seems that Deepak Chopra and, to some extent, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar have done the same. Having completed the digestion do either of them credit to and acknowledge Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to be their teacher????

Not only Dipak Chopra, but many also benefitted by this ideology. I was also associated with maharishi in the Netherlands.

Rajiv sir is altimate, simply amazing. Recommended all Indian to listen him

I support Sadguru and Sri Sri not because I like them or admire them or I am in awe of them or I have accepted them as my gurus or they are at levels above me (damn that) but simply because they are at least preventing missionary conversions in the areas they are operating. That’s it. Otherwise, I get a feeling that Sri Sri has become little leftist/communist kind of person siding with Kejriwal and Mamata B’s agenda esp. after the Yamuna basin court case incidence. Also these two gurus never mention or give credit to the original source (veds, purans, shastras, etc.) but to themselves as if they have invented their inner engg. program or yoga postures, etc. They never openly take name of Shiv, Ram, Krishan, Durga, Hanuman, etc. Sadguru has said many things that are rubbish but don’t want to get into that now. English has got into their head. English speaking gurus are respected in Bharat. Not someone like Baba Ramdev ji who is teaching yog for free and speaks Hindi. He gives credit to original source but not to himself. But since he speaks Hindi so Indian people don’t follow him much but only Bhartiya people do. Sadguru and Sri Sri is for Indians and Ramdev is for Bhartiya people. Anyways just for the conversion factor I support them (sad & sri). Thanks Rajiv ji for sharing this information.

That's why I say you have never read the vedas , shashtras. Vedas don't teach you about meditation , they are just like a dairy where many saints wrote down their enlightenment experiences , and also has some flavor of history. And the shashtras have nothing to do with spirituality , it's rather related with politics .

Sadhguru gives credit to only his GURU PALANI SWAMI ! He holds him as high as Shiva himself, he speaks about Patanjali all the time ! He himself never studied scriptures so there is no way he can speak or give his credit to them, if he even admires the scriptures, that will only be superficial and phony/pretentious ! Sadhguru whenever talks about Yoga, Talks about Adiyogi, Sapta Rishis and Patanjali ! What else do you expect from him ? In his advanced programs he mentions every guru of the past and pays gratitude to them ! He even has a serious where an entire episode is dedicated to an unknown Yogi/Guru ! I should not be comparing but SADHGURU does far more service to humanity than Baba Ramdev does ! His Social campaigns are of MASSIVE SCALE ! He offers FREE YOGA, to many of rural communities in Tamil nadu, Karnataka , AP etc ! Free Education for underprivileged kids , free medical services in these villages etc ! Please don't farm half cooked opinions before knowing the full story ! If you want to make any comment on Sadhguru, finish his Samyama program, else you are not even eligible to have an opinion on him ! You simply have no clue who he is and what he's doing ! He never said, he created INNER ENGINEERING, he clearly mentions they designed this Yoga program by optimising certain aspects of classical hata yoga and always mentions Patanjali's name ! You have no clue whom you're talking about ! Sadhguru's ways are very different, hence very effective ! You can't expect everyone to satisfy your way of doing things !

Sri Sri makes a very benign recognition of his Guru. Except Mahesh Yogi being in the guru parampara picture, I have never heard or seen any reference to him. His world renowned "Sudarshan Kriya" is also said to have come to Ravi ji by itself, not by any guidance of Mahesh Yogi. Did any conflict or difference arise between Raviji and some people around Mahesh Yogi perhaps ?

Most of the so called gurus are with attitude called ‘ahum bramhasmi’ , meaning loosing one self to modern worldly things and thinking he has reached and no need to count anyone but himself.. this they even don’t know .. Even Adhi Shankaracharya got into this mode and lord shiva appears to him as ‘chandala’ and removes that notion from him.. because Adhi Shankariah was so worthy , lord came and helped him move on.. he is not going to appear for Deepak or anyone thinks ‘ahum bramhasmi’ .. only themselves have to realize and be grounded

I don't think he or deepak know anything substantial, about TM. They are modern age gurus, and look at spirituality and sanatan and all like things with European, American glasses. So they can't touch the core idea. The truth can be taught to anybody in one sentence if he ask in one sentence, if he asked in one word it can be taught in one word, if he asked without uttering a word then he can be taught without uttering a word. This is Indian style of spirituality, rest is just rhetoric. Sorry for using too much commas.
