Dear all, I was referring to the following words of Guru Nanak Ji found in the Sikh scripture (Guru Granth Sahib): Salok Mehlaa 1 (Shalok, First Mehl): musalmaan kahaavan muskal jaa ho-ay taa musalmaan kahaavai. "It is difficult to be called a Muslim; if one is truly a Muslim, then he may be called one." aval a-ul deen kar mithaa maskal maanaa maal musaavai. "First, let him savor the religion of the Prophet as sweet; then, let his pride of his possessions be scraped away." ho-ay muslim deen muhaanai maran jeevan kaa bharam chukhaavai. "Becoming a true Muslim, a disciple of the faith of Mohammed, let him put aside the delusion of death and life." rab kee rajaa-ay mannay sir upar kartaa mannay aap gavaavai. "As he submits to God's Will, and surrenders to the Creator, he is rid of selfishness and conceit." ta-o naanak sarab jee-aa mihramat ho-ay ta musalmaan kahaavai. Sufis? You make out like sufis are bad and so are Shias, all most sufis do is promote tawassuff and they are the strictest in shariah. If you’ve listened to Adnans discussions and debates, he speaks very highly of most prominent Sufi scholars and historical sufis like Rumi etc.

I have a question Adnan to which I cant seem to find the answer online. I have seen the movies on Sai Baba and he is considered worshiped by the hindus in it. He also makes references to hindus/Hinduism but also talks about Allah and Islam particularly at the time of his death. So was Sai Baba a Muslim or Hindu?I genuinely don't know and don't mean to insult anyone

Mohammed Waqas brother m an Indian I can help u as well what I know about Sai Baba is , during late 18 s till early 19s he lived I think he died 1912 or 13 he used to live in Mosque used to beg people in the name of Allah and always said Our Lord is one because people were Hindus mostly in that region he was Muslim for sure but participated with Hindus religion as well which we heard about him coz of happiness you know he dressed as Muslim he died begging for food and everything and now Hindus are worshipping his idols brother literally every year people donate Gold chairs for his idol and he begged his whole life and only few helped not only Sai Baba Kabir as well Hindus takes his name in prayers brother they are not doing it purposely they pray everything and try to respect everyone people distract them and they get distracted I was Hindu as well they don’t know about their own religion even though I was very religious can u believe that people are very far from their scriptures they are so distracted , this is best i know rest Allahu Alam Aslam waleikum brother

Death is only the opener of eyes.....I can understand the hate in this people's heart for our prophet (pbuh) .. whatever may b the reason which they create for themself to hate Muhammad (pbuh), But what will be your position if whatever prophet told was true that there is no God but God who is the creator of heavens and earth & you died worshipping some animals and humans.

At 30.40 you say Guru Nanak said muhammed was a prophet of god. So as sikhs we need to follow muhammed instead of the gurus appointed by Guru Nanak himself? Ok, the sikh tradition holds that there were many messengers and prophets sent by god but became corrupted by their ego (dasam granth sahib - written by our guru himself) but the gurus were sent and are completely perfect unlike muhammed jesus etc. You also said that sikh history holds that Guru Gobind Singh fought against Arungzeb personally, please show me where it says arungzeb was there. It was against the army of sirhind led by wazir khan and the hill rajas. Please dont make things up esp when you dont know the history

Brother you are confused, Brother Adnan has studied extensively on Islamic history etc, he even has a masters degree on the subject. Compared to Raj he is a giant. Also Adnan has studied on indian history as well, he is bigger than you or Raj in this field so please don’t say he doesn’t know the history when he clearly does.

Adnan made a good point....if Raj can question the perfection of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), then why did Nanak first praised the Prophet (PBUH) in the Granth. Nanak then criticizes Islam & Muslims. By this definition Nanak & all Gurus also becomes imperfect n plagiarists for copying Islamic Monotheism n then mixing it with Hinduism. Guru Tejh Bahadur was also imperfect because he was easily murdered. Abrahamic Faiths never talk about reincarnation as it's a Hindu concept. What doesn't make sense is if all rivers lead to the same sea n everyone can attain salvation, then what exactly was Nanak preaching. If former religions can offer eternal salvation based on deeds only, then Nanak definitely becomes imperfect role model for previous people n doesn't qualify as a Jag Guru. Facts of today prove that point, Nanak is n was an imperfect Guru of Indian Punjab only. Sikhs like Raj always have a circular argument. Is it elements of truth from former religions or moral deeds of an atheist which are enough for eternal salvation. Its impossible for something to be partially correct n then offer full salvation as per Sikhism.

How much time is wasted arguing about religion? How about take that time and invest in bettering the wold? Be a better and kind human being.
