@ZombieBriscoe I grew up in a country area, and my dad watched a lot of westerns and played with his gun. I started copying what he did, or what actors did on the screen. God blessed me with a weird talent and I ran with it.

Gun Spinning was a form of show boating. Obviously, there wasn't anything practical about it, it was a sign of how much hard work and dedication you put into your weapons. It's a "I'm good, real good". The "Road Agent's Spin" is incredible. I want to learn how to do this, but I'm afraid I might do something wrong and hammer will fall.

+Ausar0 That's also why you do it after you've cleaned the hammer and the chamber completely. It's possible for gunpower residue to remain after one or several shots have been fired with the weapon, so it can still discharge and fire any loose shrapnel that is left in the barrel.

@fightingkentuckian2 They are regular .45 colts. (cimarron is the maker.) Straight of the shelf, shooting firearms. I do it a lot so I have callus on my fingers now. However I still work up blisters now and then. If it is humid and the guns drag I use baby powder on my trigger finger, like chalk like you said.

the trick where he spins the shotgun to cock it (or expel a spent shell or w/ever it does) reminds me of the t-800 in terminator 2, driving the motorcycle with one hand + shooting gates open in front of him with the other. highly cool stuff!

I'm so impressed, I'm currently learning how to spin just one and after months of dropping and having it spin off in various directions, I'm just getting the hang of it a little but just spinning backwards, got a looooong way to go yet just to be fairly confident, some of my trouble is l live in England and we arent allowed pistols, only shotguns and 22 rifles mostly and theres quite a palaver to get those. So im using 5.5 inch barrel Umarex Colt SAA co2 gun, and the trigger is offset to the left of the pistol which throws it out of alignment, and as it spins it tries to wind itself off the finger. Plus the barrels 5.5 inches as opposed to most spinning colts being the 4 and 3quarter inches, but l have a Remington 1875 7.5 inch barrel and its triggers centrally set and despite being longer it spins easier with better balance so go figure, l might be able to get a non firing replica of the shorter Colt SAA and use that. Just watching this guys control is both great and a little disheartening as l realise I'd never be that good. Sigh.. 😂

Thanks for the comment! Those Unarex Colts are nice. Even the real colts have a trigger off to one side, but you get used to it and compensate the small out of alignment. The Remingtons are nice with the wide centered trigger. Keep it up!

@waraas m. shelhart made them. Neither the belt or the holsters are double lined. I suppose I would double line the holsters next time to make them stiffer, but I like the belts with just one piece of leather, very pliable so they don't slide up or down when I move the guns in and out. Hugs the hips tighter.
