That's part of the problem. At his age the moving around and his weight impact on his voice (yes it's mainly a vocal chord issue, but his age and weight impact that a lot more than most think) if he had moved around less and lost the weight the he would have sounded better.

Actually, Fortus is doing all Izzy's rythme part. Ashba and Bumblefoot play one part of the main solo each in order to sound just like the studio version as Slash recorded two guitars for it, one for the first half and the other with wah for the second half. Not that I'm a fan of this lineup though...

Old Guns N' Roses cannot be recreated. Axl Rose is a fat washed-up has-been loser with no voice, even if they reunited, you wouldn't have 'old' Gn'R. Yeah, one fat loser man ruined everything and he continues to prostitute the Gn'R name with his fake cover band. It's sad, but it is what it is.

I love when his old voice comes out on occasion. It's like he's still got the old voice, but its waiting to be unleashed from a rusty old chain.

Porfavor, dejen de quejarse de la voz de Axel, TODAS las personas envejecemos y eso conlleva a que la voz cambie, almenos sigue intentando darnos una posibilidad de ver a Guns N' Roses, un ejemplo soy yo, tengo 13 años y descubrí a esta fabulosa banda que ya está separada y ya no son tan jóvenes, lo admito me gustaría que todo se quedara igual, los miembros, la misma calidad pero ni modo, así que sean un poco considerados

El problema es que parece que no quiere recuperar su voz, no está viejo, tiene una voz desgastada despues de no usarla tanto como en los 90' y aparte está en un estado fisico deprorable, todo eso conlleva a una voz fea como la que tiene ahora

Ulloa Es verdad, todos envejecemos, pero al envejecer, no siempre se pierde la voz, si la cuidas la puedes conservar, así el señor Brian Johnson, vocalista de AC/DC, que contrario a Axl Rose, a sus 70 años sigue conservando su voz. Axl tiene 56, si hubiera cuidado su voz tal vez la tendría aún

It's called having a lead and rhythm guitar. GNR had one in 1988 (Izzy Stradlin) and, thus, they have one now. Plus, the rhythm guitarist in this video is Richard Fortus from Thin Lizzy.

I miss these days so much. Back then, music was much better because singers actually used their vocals to appeal to their audiences instead of using computer assistance. The majority of music today is crap compared to this. Good times! 😊

( and even did so during the year/years before the band broke up) The only great thing He has got ( and it is huge ) is His ego. He still acts like He is a "big hot shot" rockstar and He treats His fans like shit. He let's people, ( who payed good money for a ticket) wait for several hours and then shows up , drunk as hell , not even remembering his own lyrics and has the guts to get offended when those people show their discontent. Axl is A an ashole B pretentious C long gone faded star D disrespectful to his fans E sure no great voice F psycho G well GEE and the whole alphabeth more and back again...... and yeah yeah oh boy how " good " his first show was as a replacement singer with AC DC and yab yab yab this yab yab yab that How would the AC DC fans who bought tickets to the concert feel about that? I know I would have felt cheated and am sure that most ,if not all, of them felt the same way. Axl Rose is a joke and not even a shadow of what he has been and He never ever will be anything more again.

Was just at an AC/DC concert, and Axl nailed it. He didn't sound anything like this, he had the same power in his voice as he did 30 years ago.
