Had the pleasure of having Zach&Greg visit my home and deliver my new GnR LE last week.. These guys are as real and legit as it gets.. No actors here.. I know I got the hook up from Flip-N-Out Pinball.. Had a blast with them.. They really put that step climber dolly to use.. They set my game up.. and made sure it was ready to rock.. Can’t wait to do business with them again.. Starting to think I might need another JJP to go with GnR.. Special thanks guys!

You guys are spot on, the plunge is one of my biggest complaints about my LE. With the constant multi ball the lower playfield is always clogged up and you end up just swatting balls. If the plunge was into the pops or orbit would have made this such a better shooter IMO

It’s hard to play other music pins after playing a GNR LE. The level of detail and thought that went into this Pin is amazing. I think one thing that is rather dramatic is the difference between a standard vs. the LE. The game rocks and I am happy to see you guys do this video!!

And don’t forget the art is integrated with the hundreds of led lights which also in my opinion is a part of the art. It’s unique in that way

Yes! You’re back! I checked this out a lot and was going to get it but I played the se version and the middle and off the plunge was kind of meh. Music is killer. Light show is amazing.

This is one of my favorite tables to play at my local place. I'd love to own one someday. I have a soft spot for the music themed tables. Metallica, Rush and GnR (jjp) are some of my top tables.

Most JJP machines end up feeling less than the sum of their parts. I just don't enjoy shooting them.

I hear that you change the volume manually when you play a song. You can do that automatically. There’s a separate volume control in the menu for just the songs.

Tell me if you agree here guys… I enjoy watching someone play this game(assuming they’re a reasonably good player) more than playing it myself. There’s just so much going on that you miss a lot of the show when you’re concentrating on playing. I agree with the comment about the plunge-worst in pinball IMO. Love my LE but agree with Greg about it getting stale just a bit. Will definitely keep it tho because when people come over they are drawn to that thing.

It is fun watching peoples faces when a song starts

It is definitely a revolutionary game.. my only complaint from playing on location is there are so many lights in the playfield I never know what to shoot.. Im sure once you get it in a home environment it would make more sense

Great review! "Poofy" 🤣.. but I like the plunge, it's different than any pin I have and for that, I love that it is unique. I go to 24-25 also. Setup is key though. Flipper coil fans and a slight power bump are almost necessities.

Remember, to them, a B is shitting on a game. Ds and Fs don't exist, and you almost never ever see a C. This review seemed like... shilling. This game is flooding pinside right now on the used market as many people don't like it. It is an experience, but after it wears off it loses appeal fast.

I personally love guns n roses music so I jumped on the hype train and bought an Le. The light show is fantastic and concert theme music play experience second to none! But the light plunge shot I hated! Quite often it would drain easily once entering the playfield. That centre shot had no satisfaction other than starting a song. That was also frustrating with constant draining down the middle… the upper playfield would also often drain down the middle and as they stated not one major satisfying shot that makes you keep coming back. I also found it was too multiball heavy. I sold it with just under 100 games. I think I will stick with sterns.

THANK YOU!! Finally a legitimate review of JJP GNR. Had it on order for a year. All I heard was "The flippers feel different", "Lot's of Multiballs" and ".. yes it has a great light show, but....". The machine is revolutionary and has raised the bar for all. Keeps me coming back. Do you have an ETA on announcement for next JJP machine? P.S. Soft plunge does suck.

Wouldn't shots and layout make a difference for enjoyability? Giving that a B and still end up with a A+ for enjoyability doesn't seem right

Pinside states that there are three ramps. I see the left and right ramps. Where is the third ramp? Maybe they are including the VUK?

I am waiting for a Megadeth pinball machine that would be a total winner for me.

Maintenance NIghtmare!

I had a go on this one, two days ago, and it was brilliant! Got my photo taken, etc, mis-spelled my name LOL, for the high score but it was all good, to November Rain.

Wait I thought you did a review on guns n' roses from Jersey Jack.. Okay maybe not. I'll just chalk it up to being old and can't remember right..

I just can’t get into a band theme games and it kind of sucks that it seems like right now you can only buy music themed machines brand new on the market. Everything else is waitlisted it seems.

Really dumb question but do pinball companies ever reissue a game? Or is the model one and done then move on to the next IP to put out?

I got to finally play one at our local mega pinball place (300 pinball's, all the new ones) and I was really shocked at how bad the Jersey Jack pinball's were. They looked amazing but the game play all around on all of their major titles was terrible (and there was multiple broken things on all of them, the willy wanka wasn't even playable, ball got stuck first play). I also got to play a new Rush LE and that is one damn good shooting machine. I post this as this video starts, so it will be interesting what they say and will really formulate my opinion on these guys (who I have now watched for over year).

Question:I have the gnr pinball. When i shoot the ball in the midddle hole it shoots it out right down the middle and im done. It didnt do this when i first started playing it?It would shoot it to the side. Was it ddesigned to shoot down the middle?

@@chriskriaris4304 mine did too. I owned mine for 3 weeks. Put a piece of velcro the fuzzy side only on the right side of the scoop and works perfectly. You just need a little piece. Now never drains, It goes to the left like it should.

I want a sticker but don't have any of the mentioned social media.

Yeahhhhhh…that plunger. And the fact that this game just does not shoot well almost kills it for me. I was in getting one until I played it. So undecided. It would be an indulgence if I bought one for myself.

Rush deck with faces is creepy

The SE is a better game honestly. It's got better flow. It's faster. It's not as confusing. You guys mention how cool the upper playfield is. Honestly it's not great after playing an SE and see how much better it plays without the upper playfield. Love this review and y'all are spot on. It's a life experience that you need and one of the most innovative, forward moving games ever made!
