Lagu ini menceritakan kehidupan cinta Axl yang tak seindah kepopuleran band-nya. Pernikahan Axl yang singkat dengan Gina Siler dan kandas di pengadilan, membuatnya menulis lagu sentimentil ini. Usia yang muda dan labil membuat mereka tak siap menjalani bahtera rumah tangga. Pun demikian, kenangan pernikahan itu sangat membekas dalam hidup Axl. Jauh dalam lubuk hatinya, ia menginginkan sebuah rumah tangga yang bahagia, tidak seperti rumah tangga orang tuanya yang broken home. Lagu ini sangat emosional dan berarti bagi Axl. Sehingga ketika Slash keluar dari Guns N Roses, ia tidak berani membawakan lagu ini dengan vocalist lain.
