This was his last truly great show though, he blew his voice out completely after this, and the ACDC shows that's why he sounds the way he does nowadays.

Axl’s baritone is so awesome! He definitely should sing more in the baritone range for some new songs, he just sounds so menacing.

The main reason his voice is hit and miss now is because he runs around so much. He's an old man now, he needs to stop tiring himself out, as it effects vocal performance. Being in shape would help him in ways most people don't get.
