About a year ago at least from what I can recall... there was a mod where the Black and white effect was applied on the mod called vs Mami for the first time; I want to point this mod as an example of the effect as what some people called "The bad apple effect" on youtube since its from a video of a song called "Bad apple" (This is not a friday night funkin mod but a song) Anyway if you see both on that video and the mod vs Mami... that you can clearly see the silhouettes perfectly. Their movements are clean and if you knew who this characters are you would be able to tell by just looking at the silhouettes as well without the context. In this song the "Bad apple effect" is done horribly for this reason, it takes the soldiers on the back that aim at girlfriend, Girlfriend, the tankman, boyfriend, and the soldiers on the ground looking at them as everyone being black contrasting the white section... with this inind it's a cluster fuck to the eyes and you can't make out what the fuck you're looking at until the effect it's over. Also this effect has been overused as of recently on other mods as well but at least done better compared to this one. I hope this brought an explanation on why the white and black effect just damages this song as it is. If it was tankman and bf, turned into silhouettes just like in vs Mami then it could be salvaged.
