I remember playing this game in the arcades!!!! so many years ago

ah man the nostalgia is kicking in, our local skating rink had this before they closed down, such a superb lightgun game

I was quite surprised at 4:23 when 515 Hours kicked in! I'm only familiar with that song from Virtual On Force (and the [H.] album), so it caught me off guard! :P

I played a little bit of this in the arcade! but then randomly wound up winning that promotion that was a tie-in for that Wii compilation release, so I spent several hours in score attack remix trying to get high scores in that mode. though I moved out of my parents' house a few years ago so watching this again definitely made me miss it.

Can a helicopter fly that low to the ground? :0

Yes. However most helicopters are usually equipped to engage from hundreds of meters if not kilometers away. Having them at spitting distance is just so you can have them looming cool on screen or canvas lol

This was ported in a collection on the Wii and they removed the Twin Towers in that version.

i really love this light gun shooter arcade game of sega model 2 and i hate it because the emulator had a problem with the movement of the mouse light gun

just finished this route yesterday on a DX model.

That pilot is doing more work than the shooters

Question for the uploader: did you purchase the wii re-release of this game (which also included the excellent L.A. Machineguns), and if you did, what did you think of it? I loved how sega treated this franchise.

NPC 888 I really only collect Saturn games. The only Wii title I personally own is Journey of Dreams. That said, I have tried emulating that collection to capture footage of L.A. Machineguns, but Dolphin can't quite handle one of the levels. I'd love for Sega to port both games to PC one of these days.

rw:my bro and i played both GUNBLADE NY /LA MACHINEGUNS arcade cause they were 2 in one arcade and wow talk about a combo .^_^

The Wii port has pretty bad textures compared to the arcade original. LA Machineguns seems to look good on the Wii, though.

SEGAHEADDY To be honest they both look a little similar because they’re older arcade games and the blocky textures are more noticable, but to me LA Machine guns looks good in general compared to gunblade New York. and on the Wii they were both too much fun to be noticing the graphics.

What are the requirements for SSS grade per stage?

It's related to the timer and -- I think -- the number of hits you take. Try to look for the fastest ways to kill enemies in each section. Sometimes blowing up an adjacent vehicle will do the trick, but most of the time, it's shooting their head.

Did this actually happen in 2005 ?

+Zombie Jesus I suggest starting at GameGas.com. Search the game you want there, and then go through the links to the relevant cheat sites. Some places have codes that others don't.

Yeah that site was no help at all I couldnt find any cheats for Gunblade NY. There must be someway to work the cheat function within the emulator...Why else would it be available?

Zombie Jesus There are cheats for certain Model 2 games like Manx TT and Sega Rally, but there's nothing for Gunblade NY other than alternate endings that are unlocked when you meet certain conditions.

Did you play this with mouse? I’m trying to get it to work with Xbox one controller without sucsess
