ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!!

This really is such an amazing tutorial and has saved me so much money buying dried palm leaves for cakes. Never thought it would be so easy just to make them myself and it looks so much more impressive on a cake everything being handmade and edible! For anyone who can't get saracino I really recommend The Sugar Paste modelling paste and fondant. It's really elasticy and works brilliant for these 😊

I was thinking of making some with paper then spray paint with gold for a cake for the weekend. Will definitely be making them with modelling paste now

Thank you for this - I made wafer paper palm leaves but not successful making gold ones - Found you on You Tube & voila, within minutes I had paste ones in the oven drying - it will be on the cake in a few hours - thanks for sharing - 35 years of cake decorating & still learning !!!
