Well this took WAY longer than I thought it would. I accidentally got invested in a game again and put off working on this for too long. The end part where Rin does the high part with no harmony was giving me such a hard time that I damn near gave up. In the end I'm not too sure how I feel about it, but I think Gumi really shines here. Rin's parts are a little less great, probably because I switched from Piapro to V6 at the last minute, but I think it works.
As always, thanks for watching, and thanks especially to everyone who's subscribed since Brain Fluid Explosion Girl! Definitely check out some of my other stuff! For some reason it's never the covers I'm most proud of that get views, so I'm asking that if you enjoy this, go check out my cover of "Gift" and "RRRRafflasia"!

I didn't expect Gumi to have the high-pitched voice and Rin the lower one!! nice cover :O

Omg thank you! yeah i LOVE Rin’s low range so much and try to give her lower parts when I can. And since I have way more experience with SynthV than Vocaloid, getting Gumi to hit those high notes was much more feasible. If you listen closely you can actually hear on Rin’s solo high part towards the end that I had SO much trouble getting her to get those notes without the lower part to balance it out. Thanks again for listening and taking the time to comment!

Я только что словил такой когнитивный диссонанс, капец :О Гуми на synthV поет партию vocaloid Мику, причем таким высоким голосом, и, блин, vocaloid Рин с низким голосом поет synth Тето У меня вывихнулся мозг

ahaha thank you, it was definitely on purpose! i had it the other way originally but it was way easier to give gumi the high part! i also thought it would be funny, so i'm glad you noticed!

yeah, one of the things i like to do, especially when i’m just messing around with different voicebanks, is to see how far i can push them. i have a habit of getting a new voice and immediately trying my hardest to get them to sound completely different. since i’m not quite at the point of making original songs yet, i had hoped that making the voices sound unique would let me add my own sound to my covers! i do understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, some people just like their typical sounds, but that’s okay! thank you so much for listening!!

@@fearofevrything that's really interesting and i totally get you! i sometimes fear my covers dont stand out enough as well, and that's a really creative way to make them different! i might actually try to play around with some of the voices i have and see if i can make them sound different thanks to you, cuz it sounds fun! :D

@@clown-p3760 that's awesome to hear! it can be so much fun, it really reminds you of the original purpose for vocal synths, to provide an artist with a wide range of sound options, rather than trying to rely on a single human singer! My favorite Vocaloid songs are the ones that make me go "wait, that's MIKU??", which is how I got the idea in the first place. Good luck with your own attempts, and have fun with them!
