Ali Sethi already has a lot of beautiful songs that you should listen to. Ranjish hi Sahi from Ahmed Faraz (Ali Sethi) is also a beautiful ghazal. And yes, Faiz is eternal. We'll never get another Faiz or Iqbal ... ever. P.S. The background vocalists in this song are so underrated. But that beautifully-pitched harmony made this song so much more emotive and full of feelings!

OMG! Ali Sethi AND Faiz Saahib’s most amazing kalaam! I would hear this on repeat when this was first released. Many criticized Ali’s version as the original masterpiece was by Mehdi Hassan...and as you rightly said his rendition was beyond comparison. But Mr Sethi just gives it his 100% and transports us to a different world! I too am in awe of Ali Sethi, Jojo! He’s just too brilliant for words! Attended his live concert and was blown away by his talent, his voice, his energy, his intelligence (he’s a Harvard graduate, no less) and his fantastic sense of humour! Thank you SO much for reacting to this one, girls. You just made my day! ❤️

I first heard this song in the film..haider sung by Arijit singh. I didn't even know that ali sethi too sung this song. Usually i don't compare but i think ali sethi is just a little good than arijit. And thats very huge compliment i guess. 😊

Ali Sethi is one of the few modern-day singers left in our country with this much versatility in his voice.. iss larkay se koi bhi genre gawa lo, disappoint nahi kerta :) by the way, did you guys react on Khaki Banda - Coke Studio? Ali Sethi's rendition of Mehdi Hassan's Ghazal isn't as bad as I feared its a compliment in a round about way .
