Gulmarg is a very popular hill station in Kashmir. It is also known as Meadow of Flowers, since in summer one can witness the beauty of colorful flowers in every nook and corner of Gulmarg.
One of the main tourist attraction in Gulmarg is the Gondola ride or ropeway.
There are 2 Phases of Gulmarg Gondola ride, Phase 1 which is known as Kungdoor which is almost 2.5 kms ride and at an altitude of around 8500 ft and from Phase 1 you can go to Phase 2 which is known as Apharwat which is also 2.5 kms ride and at an altitude of around 13000 - 14000 ft.
Gulmarg is also popular for Ski and snow activities in the world.
