Gulf of Mexico 1968 (The Numbers Station) Call of Duty Black Ops - Part 15 - 4K
With only hours away from the scheduled Nova 6 gas release in US cities, Hudson leads forces on a heli-borne assault on the Rusalka to stop the broadcast. First, Mason pilots the Huey gunship to destroy the AA defenses on the ship. But the AA's start firing on the player's team so the player has to start taking out the defenses. Once the air defenses are neutralized, Weaver's team is inserted from the heli-pad. As the team attempts to make their way into the ship via entrance at the Rusalka's bow section, Mason and Hudson provide fire support for the team as they advance through the port side deck. Here, Mason is forced to destroy an Mi-24A. The fight cripples Mason's Huey, forcing him to make a crash landing at the heli-pad, nearly making the player go flying off the side, but luckily the player survives. Mason and Hudson advance through the starboard deck, dealing with a mass amount of foot soldiers and two Mi-8 HIPs using Valkyrie Rockets before venturing below deck.
Once they fight their way to the lower deck, they find the Rusalka is just the surface section, and that the real Numbers Station is underwater. After ordering Weaver to leave the Rusalka and calling in the Navy to sink it, Hudson and Mason swim to the underwater station to shut off the numbers transmission. After they gruesomely fight their way to the command center, Mason accesses the control console and shuts down the broadcast. Dragovich appears, and is about to shoot Mason when Hudson distracts him, allowing Mason to pull him off the walkway and drown him underwater.
With Dragovich finally dead, Mason and Hudson escape the crumbling underwater station by swimming to the surface, where they are greeted not only by Weaver but by a large US Navy battleships, air units, helicopters and patrol boats as well. Mason hears Reznov congratulating him as they swim to the surface. The crisis is averted.

My gta verse fiction has call of duty and gta being in the same universe. But because real life nations are altered or merged or dissolved, some fictional nations took its place. Like the Rusalka boat raid was set in the gulf of Lingor, set near the fictional nation of Aquila. Based on the continental USA. With elements borrowed from confederate states and northern Mexico. That it ran as some ally of the grander United States which annexed Canada early in the American revolution and as a long term result, it annexed most of Mexico and the greater Antilles. The Rusalka boat raid only succeeded as some major USA victory. That it wasn’t declassified until 2010 when the real life call of duty black ops game came in and released. The mission was declassified to the public. The story of Nova 6 gas became public as well. That this secret deadly weapon is considered illegal and against humanity. Even in war time. Also Fidel Castro wasn’t a communist in this universe as Cuba is a us state and he wasn’t Cuban. Just American citizen with Spanish heritage. And was more of social democrat initially. Maybe later became a Conservative Party member. However, Venezuela would be over run by communists in 1960. And soon spread the idea into middle America. Especially Vilena. A former puppet state of Aquila. Later it would turn communist. And a dictator would take over and this would have Aquilan mercenaries and CIA backing to committing bay of pigs type invasion and like bay of pigs of our world, it too would fail. Quickly. Unfortunately it would cause some backlash as the Soviets would use Aquilan citizens to commit revolution and turn on the USA. However this would be stopped by Mason and the black ops team.

But the Soviets didn’t know about Nova 6 or Dragovich’s shady activities. Neither did the CIA think that Mason was the real assassin of JFK and it asks more questions, who were pulling the strings if neither the USA or Soviet Union were willing to attack offensively to each other despite how fearful they were to each other.
