They’re called REILs - Runway End Identification Lights. They allow pilots to quickly determine which is the approach end of the runway.

I have traveled Bahrain to Dubai with this plane.

i have a question? Bahrain Airport have two runways right? does the shorter runway still in used as takeover and landing or using for taxi to the longer runway?

Yes. The shorter one runway 30L is used for taxing instead. It's not used for takeoff and landing operations.

Seriously, consider changing the end screen, it's the worst thing about your videos. Watching a great relaxing night video in fullscreen only to be blasted with a blinding white screen at the end. Black or Grey would be much better.

You know it will be a BUTTER when the GPWS callouts says '5'.

No. First it is not the gpws,it is the radio altimeter. The callout has nothing to do with the landing,it s just like 50. You ll hear it if you have it installed ,if you dont have it installed then you wont hear it. As simple as it can get.

@@AVPaegle nope,you re wrong. Callouts are always heard whatever the way you flare or you land. If you re sinking too fast (1000fpm or more) then you wont hear anything from the radioaltimeter it's true, but the gpws will start shouting. If you hear 50 then 30 (common on some 737s)that just means the 40 callout is not installed in the computer of your plane,you will never hear it unless you ask boeing to put it. Same thing for the 5 ,ask it and you ll get it. If you dont hear it that just means you dont have it so you ll never hear it. You can even ask for a 60 callout if you want,or to remove everything except the 50 so you ll only hear 50. Planes arent sold like cars,each single plane is unique.

@@Hk-uw8my not true at all...It can go from 50 to 20 if you have steep approach angle... and if you do it shallow you hear them all. But have to admit, I love your confidence when telling others they are wrong

AP on until 500ft on a CAVOK day. So funny. I would not like to be a pax on a Middle East airline in a degraded situation. Manual flying skills are important but it seems they have nothing to do about that.
