This was a great game. It also featured some great plays from others. Most notably Auriel saving the day multiple times. Anub was actually playing very well too.

As a Gul'dan main, you're overthinking each Corruption cast way too much, Pally! You also seem to overcompensate when predicting enemy movement. As counter intuitive as it may sound, just chuck it and you'll land more than you'll miss :)

Using Horrify into Corruption is quite hard, the best way I find to pull it off is try get the enemy team into tighter areas so when they're Horrified they can't scatter. I just love the Corruption builds for Gul'Dan possibly my favorite in the entire game, so love it when you play them. 16:45 and that, is why he is just so good. Get an entire enemy team into a tight space hit them with Horrify & then Corruption getting full hits, it's an easy team wipe.

placing corruption as a cast on release to see the circles and the overlap they might have helps a shit ton in landing them.

Pally peaking the mic because he is having a good time is ALWAYS an acceptable reason :D

It looks like you're on Quick Cast? Corruption is one of those abilities that really benefits from not using Quick cast IMO.

Having your quick cast settings on on release may help land them juicy corruptions

I wish that his pure Q Build was better than it really is because it's such a "turn your brain off and go" build that I love.

Probably using quickast on release is a better choice for corruption, at least that's what I do :D

that first death was funny. also you don't get to see much of the build when you stomp them like that. also I think the mana tap talent makes you too squishy, you can't just farm a wave to full again, or use minions like potions to surprise your enemies.

If I play this Build I usually take Dark Bargain at 13 for 40% more HP and 10 seconds increased respawn time and Darkness Within at 16 for even more spellpower. Also rain ult and Circle at 20 ensure max dmg and quite good surviveability. If everything works out, you're living the dream.

@mfpallytime I dunno if its worth a video but just once for fun take Dark Bargain the increased 40% health baseline is kinda bonkers. Just a side note if you actually math out the 15% bonus damage on 7 for your spam corruption build there is no reason why you can't just take the spam talent, you could perfectly merge the damage and the spam without missing too much because its the level 1 quest and 16 that really makes the damage in QM or lower rank play. The 15% damage increase really only is significant if you have coordination with a tank or another CC based hero and can land multiple hits of corruption on a single hero with high frequency. If you are not doing that you may as well just get more E.

I feel like he gets burnt out on HoTS a lot that’s why there isn’t as much HoTS content. I can’t say I blame him though, it’s either a premade stomp or a clusterfuck shitshow most games. Rare we actually get good games these days. Still rocking with pally though, I’ve learned a lot from watching him, just wish he enjoyed it more
