MMDが出たのがちょうどその頃なので、そういったツールを使って作ったのではないかと思います。本当にすごい。

i had this exact experience when i finally got curious enough to find out what touhou actually was LMFAOO

マジで野生のプロなんだよな だって2009だぜ？

MMD界で皇帝と呼ばれた人の作品だぞ。 完成度が高くない訳がない。

東方のキャラクターと 歌詞がリンクしているのも、 この曲の魅力的なところです。

当時の技術でこんなに滑らかで綺麗なMVになってる事がまず驚きだし、BAD APPLEが神なのを再確認されられるよね

発案者の下書きから様々なPVが作られここまで行き着いたのは、今考えても凄いムーブメントだったなぁ

これほんとロストテクノロジーすぎる 当時どう作ったのか検討もつかない

I remember how this MV blew people away back when it came out. It's a remix of the stage 3 theme in Touhou 4 lotus land story. Still an absolute banger and kinda became the most well known Touhou song even though Touhou 1 - 5 are the forgotten games that most people don't play. The most well known characters are part of Touhou 6 - 12.

この動画を切り口に一人一人キャラを知ると、東方（＝東方Project）の世界が広がります。 キャラを知り、登場するゲームに触れるとキャラ同士の関係性も見えてきます。 それらを踏まえて改めてこのPVを見ると、このPVがどれだけ緻密に作られているかに衝撃を受けます。 そして。このPVの原画を見ると、その衝撃は驚愕と同時に”笑撃”をもたらしてくれますXD

Something i adore about this mv, or maybe Touhou as a whole, is how each character has a silhouette so distinct it's easy to tell most of them apart

The creator, Anira, never mentioned the application they used, some people says it's Blender some say they're really good with MMD. 01:28 That's Remilia Scarlet, her little sister is Flandre Scarlet which you mentioned at the end of the video. 02:29 The singer is Nomico For what Touhou is people have explained it in the comment section. It literally cannot be MMD, it was animated before MMD was a thing. But yeah, regardless of what they used it turned out very smooth which is one of the reasons behind its popularity

What you're reacting to is a music video featuring characters from the bullet hell series Touhou Project with the remix of Bad Apple by Masayoshi Minoshima. This MV animated by Anira, released in October 2009. The remix came out on 20 May 2007. Ever heard of the music titled Night of Nights? It came out on the same date and it's also a Touhou remix. The original Bad Apple composed by Jun'ya Ōta aka ZUN, it's an OST from Touhou 4 in which released in August 1998.

あの力尽きて🪦コンテからのコレだからなぁ。一部MMDだとしてもモデルも素材もMMDその物の機能も足りない部分があるから現在に至っても割とオーパーツなのよね。もう笑うしかない。CGやアニメーションだとしても作業量が……ってなるから企業やプロが使うようなソフトも駆使した当時の最高傑作って自分は勝手に思ってます。(神の犯行とか受注者が神とかタグが愉快な事になってた作品の一つ。スクリーンセーバーにする程大好きな作品)

I really want to see more people react to 愉快な墓場でごきげんよう (Adieu, Lively Graveyard). There are so many great arrangements of Touhou songs, you're just spoiled for choice.

I swear I already saw this video, is this a reupload? For recommendations, it depends, do you want to go through fan works like Bad Apple? Or would you prefer to experience the official music? Or both? Touhou is a bullet hell series made by one guy ZUN, but it has a large amount of fan works by many people due to ZUN being very lax with the IP among other things. For specifics I'm probably not the best one to recommend reaction videos, since even though I'm confident I could direct you to some of the best content, it's not necessarily the stuff that will get you clicks. So instead I'll recommend having a stream where you check out the games or where you listen to some of the game's music, it would be much easier to learn more about Touhou that way

Touhou is primarily a bullet hell series of games. The franchise is huge with many other types of games and media being released. I think they are working on the 20th mainline game now.
