Anatolian Rock is legendary. Try listening more Barış Manço and others like Moğollar, Erkin Koray, Üç Hürel, Cem Karaca and many more. Anatolian Rock is all those subgenres played over Anatolian folk music. You will like it.

70's prog rock, now we're talking! Quick search on Prog Archives says Baris is the lead singer and keyboard player. The sound reminds me a lot more of the Italian prog scene than the UK one, especialy bands like Le Orme and Banco del Muttuo Succorso. This was a great find, I'm going to have to look for more.

One of my all-time favorites, and one sinfully underestimated band out there. They play various types of music from ska, punk, funk, metal, reggae and soul. Hey bro. Baris Manco is the greatest singer and I appreciate you have listen. His style changed over time. He has great records in french or in english in 60s 70s only. Go for Barış Manço - Ce Sera Le Temps or Barış Manço - Şehrazat / İngilizce but most of his Baris Manco - Trip Fairground songs after 70s won’t fit your taste. I promise you will hear very very unique sounds. My favourite another favourite is Baris Manco - Trip Fairground . You will feel 60s and 70s in your bones bro I promise and just give him credit a Turkish guy composing these sounds in 60s 70s.

Well, that was different yet a little familiar. I don't think I'll be tracking down this guy's "Best Of" album, but it was memorable. I tried tracking down the proper name of the musical Slinky, but I couldn't find anything. Have I or has anyone else recommended Ayreon's "The Day the World Breaks Down" yet? If not, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's one of those long songs that goes by in a flash, it has a high level of progressive-flavored musicality with a heavy dose of blues, and the video itself is informative and entertaining in a way I wish more videos were. From one musician to another, I guarantee you'll love it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oXqpr62dot22obg.html

I didn't expect to hear a song like this on your channel - I don't know much about Barış Manço, but he's a legend, as is the 70s Rock music from Turkey as a whole; since a long time I want to get ddeeper into this music, but I never managed to do it yet (yes, Barış Manço is the singer's name; the name indicates he is of kurdish origin, I think; it is pronounced Barısh Mantsho, in english pronounciation; the ı is spoken like a muted i, or maybe like the y in "cryptic"; it's almost toneless). The percussion instrument is most probably a kind of Kokoriko (or Binzasara) with origins in Japan (yay, Japan again, hahaha ...) (→ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binzasara and www.thomann.de/de/meinl_ko1am_kokiriko.htm e.g.). PS: The c in "Dönence" is pronounced like the english "j", but I don't know how to explain the "ö" to an english speaker (or an italian ...; Maybe you know remember the legendary performances by Gary Moore at the Montreux Jazz Festival; if you know how to spell Montreux, "ö" is exactly sounding like the "-eux" part of Montreux)
