Guitar Looper Pedal Basics - 5 Easy Steps To Get You Started
Ойын-сауық
This is a guitar looper pedal beginner lesson. In order to get started looping on the guitar there are some basic skills that you need to master. In this video I will teach you how to use a looper pedal and master these basic skills and pro tips. They are easy once you practice them. The looper I am using is the Ditto by TC Electronic but it can be done just the same on a Boss RC-1 looper pedal. A looper pedal is an essential tool for practice, performance and composition so I believe that it is important to learn.

Rock on! Thanks for posting
I started in the coffee house circuit in the 70's, and still play a lot of solo acoustic gigs. I have two loopers but got scared off using them live so now they mostly just collect dust. Your simple concise instruction has me reevaluating them. You are an excellent teacher!

Thanks Frank. 👍🏻 I have two JamMan loopers and just started using them again after having difficulty getting Loopy Pro to work for me. I have a video of me recently going through my loop set up on my channel. Just getting started again trying to loop is a big step.

Great video Frank. Have you ever tried using a drum pedal and synching it with a looper? I’ve used a Beat Buddy for several years, not on all songs but for some. I’m messing around with a looper again thanks to your videos but will have to upgrade mine to get one that syncs with the Beat Buddy.

Not yet! But I am looking into the beat buddy and will sync with my dittox4 that does have midi capability.
Thanks Frank! BTW do you ever sing with an electric guitar?

Sometimes. I will occasionally depending on the gig bring an electric guitar (my telecaster) and play a few songs with that. And occasionally I will play and sing electric with a full band though not as often as I would like.
