I like birds like that (I like all birds really) Very neat sounds

I loved that sound she makes. So comforting and domestic, a sort of crooning. Although I don't know why she needs to make so much noise while brooding her eggs. Lovely footage!

Lost my female guinea to intestinal issues. She literally crapped out her intestines. So now I only have a male, so no eggs from her. It sucks

she was seeing you, hence nesting noises interrupted by warning calls

hello! i have one baby guinea fowl, s/he's about 7 weeks old now, and since they were a couple of weeks old they've made these exact same noises? does this mean they're a girl? :0 they do the same adult (?) noise as the 5 1/2 week old babies in one of your other videos... i can't wait to find out!

If it is making the "Buckwheat" sound it's a girl. She's doing it at 0:54! The other little chirps don't necessarily mean its sex :) Some of those sounds sound exactly like the happy noises my male guinea makes so I don't think you can tell from any of the other whistles.

Females make a call that sounds like they're saying "Buck wheat" over and over again, you can hear it some in this video. Our males are a little larger than our females too.
